If you want to adjust your instrument, you can adjust the weighing unit using a calibrated weight, and you can adjust the heating unit using the optional temperature calibration kit.

To adjust the weighing unit, press the menu button, scroll to "calibration" and select weight calibration. The instrument instructs you to place a 50 g weight on the weighing pan…..and then to remove the weight. After removal of the weight, the adjustment procedure is finished.
To adjust the heating unit, remove the pan handler, place the temperature calibration kit, press the menu button, scroll to calibration menu and select Temperature Calibration… and close the lid to start the adjustment. The temperature is adjusted at two points: 100 and 160 degrees.
After 15 minutes, read the thermometer and enter that temperature. The instrument will heat up now to 160 degrees for another 15 minutes and then it requests the value at the second adjustment point. After inputting the second temperature, the adjustment process is successfully completed.
