Great tutorial! I've been looking for tutorials because I have an extra dome cap and I wanted to buy some bundles to make a headband wig. Some of the other tutorials I watched were good too, but I didn't like how you could see the thread that attached the headband and the dome cap. I'll definitely sew mine with this way so that the thread doesn't show on the edge. Thanks!

I like your video very much because you explain the best you can. That makes a big difference to help me understand what I see you doing. I also like that you speed up and slow down at the right times and show the whole process. I have some 12 and 8 inch kinky straight hair that I will use to make a bob headband wig as I work in a spice warehouse and I'm trying to retain the length since my hair is at a healthy, natural state. Yes my crystal, that is because the owner of this wig head size is 20 very small your cutting should depend on your head size

The beauty supply sells headbands..they are not that hard to find..a pack of 3 may be 2.00. You do not need a link to purchase a headband

Yes you can my crystal just make sure you use some spray gel on the glue to make it last longer

Loved this video🌹 Q: I have a headband unit the combs agitate and mk the unit unbearably uncomfortable to wear. I folded the combs in the cap to not use them but now the wig is not secure on my head. Should I remove the combs entirely? And how then can I replace the headband with an elastic one? Any of your expertise would be great.🌹 Ty for your video

Now..I liked the video. What made me give a side eye was because at the beginning of the video she said she was making it for a client whose head measurements was 20’. She then stated at the end that she could not try on the wig because she had braids. Why would you try on someone else’s wig🤷🏾‍♀️

No dear it won't work that way please just take down everything and start over because with band wig the sewing is different ❤️

Quick question about cutting off the elastic band: does it make the headband wig fit looser/stretch out more quickly?

I cut my bead because it makes my head band wig lay flat but you cutting should depend on the size of your head I hope this was helpful if not. I will be here to answer any more question or video suggestions

@@ChristianaAkuru Oh okay. I'm trying on my dome cap now to see how far up I should put the headband/how much of the band I should cut off. Do you think just cutting off some of the band in the front would work? That way it lays flatter in the front but still fits securely.

First, I love it. And second, the wig turns out small because you removed to much of the front circumference. You only need to cut right behind the band from ear to ear
