A successful season for Bedard this year is stay on the positive side of +/- and start becoming a better two way player… being a superstar, he’s got to lead so the rest will have no excuse to do the same

Add TJ Brodie to the list, just the piece you need for your 3rd pair beside KK. This leaves you 6 deep on the backend and ready for a full 82 games of engagement. Good luck at camp, Ethan Del Mastro. The 7th D man spot is yours for the taking. 🧩

We had a chance to swing huge this draft to be the last propeller.. we bunted.. You could’ve played it safe the next 10 drafts if you wanted just not this one.. Couldve left the draft with Best playmaker Best ovrall goal scorer and best shut down RH defenseman

This is what I question about Richardson. He mentioned about teaching Levshunov to play mean. He openly stated he wished Korchinski played with more edge at one point last season. Korchinski didn’t play with an edge in junior hockey. You expect him to play with an edge in the NHL? Vlasic at 6’6” 220 had 56 hits in 76 games I believe. That’s an embarrassing number for any defenseman let alone one that size. Typically players have an edge or they don’t. I haven’t seen it coached really but anyone who watches playoff hockey knows it’s absolutely necessary to win.

Vlassic isn’t that physical correct but he plays an amazing stick checking and positional game he dosent need to hit because he’s 6,6 he was the hawks arguably best dman from start to finish of the season at 22 years old

I agree with you but being physical should be part of his game IMO. Playing physical (yet smart) is just a matter of want and I don’t see that in Vlasic yet I really like other parts of his game like you mentioned. That’s why it’s so puzzling to me to hear Richardson speak on Korchinski and Levshunov with regards to this subject yet his best and biggest defenseman seemingly has no interest in playing that way and that doesn’t seem to be an issue with the coach.

cole eiserman had 25 goals in 24 games in the ushl and sacha boisvert had like 32 in 64

Cole eiserman got passed up by multiple GMs that’s a red flag I think ima trust KD who hasn’t missed yet over people complaining on social media

Goals aren’t everything. Boisvert is a 200 foot player with skill and physicality. Although I thought they’d take Hage. Eiserman is a one trick pony but the trick is elite. We’ll see how they develop. That’s why I love the draft. Sooner or later we’ll see who was right.

We need size, speed, and HIGH compete. We have those offensive skilled guys already, we keep getting skilled guys hawks will get RUNNED THE F'D OVER like the maple leafs. We need those size physical gritty players to do the dirty work so our offensive guys have room to do their thing

Because Davidson is incompetent… look no further than the offer he made to Blue jackets for the 4th pick to get Demidov… no way any top liner is going to come to Chicago with what he’s offering

Do you really want a one dimensional player like eiserman, I question if he's coachable and willing to play off the puck better. Plus we have offensive skilled guys in the prospect like bedard, nazar, moore, reichel, kantserov, hayes, lardis, and ludwinski. They all have versatility, speed, skill, and provide little more what does eiserman have.... shooting and purified goal scorer I'll give him that but other than those 2 it seems like he needs elite linemates to set him up he doesn't even position himself great off the puck.

@@Solitaryman70lmao yeah I doubt Tallon was going to his assistant for approvals.. Tallon put all the pieces together. Bowman tried to keep it together making some pretty horrific decisions ie Panarin, Saad, Beach that ultimately cost them more cups.
