Terrifying footage has revealed the inside of China's haunting humanoid robot factory.
Piles of disembodied silicone heads, loose skin and leftover limbs can be seen piling up alongside lifelike droids as part of China's apocalyptic mission to replace humans with machines.
Chilling video shows an engineer next to the carbon copy robot of himself with stick on skin that flawlessly replicates his facial expressions and emotions.
Female robots can also be seen with a face full of makeup and extravagant wigs flexing their hand movements.
The company behind the wacky project, Chinese startup Ex Robot, opened up their robot museum in 2022 after six years of droid development.

Seems like science fiction but in the 1960`s they said almost everyone would have a home computer, people laughed when the average computer rook up the space of an entire room - now we all have a computer we carry around with us everyday in the form of a phone, even on your wrist. Give it enough time, not only will prices fall but the person walking beside you in the street will become so hard to tell the difference between the real thing or not. Even worse they might be able to think for themselves.

As a robot builder I can say that those robots while having a good enough dexterity in the upper limbs and facial expression (but Ameca is way ahead), they totally lack the ability to stand up and balance by themselves. No wonder the CEO is talking about behind the desk static applications. Once again, China is far behind.

They only started 2 years ago, I think their progress is pretty amazing. These robots look good. I don't think they are far behind, I think they are either as close to their competitors or even ahead at this point. Also, American/British companies, all they like to do is talk, but they are too afraid to take that next leap forward. China on the other hand, is not afraid to do that. If China wants to do something, they will just do it. I love their attitude.

If China put the effort into othetr products like they do in to robotics, people would be happy to buy their products. Their electric bikes and cars catch fire, petrol scooters/ bikes and mopeds are very unreliable, electronics are cheap and useless. Some things are quite good to buy and use, that is mostly things that do not meed electronics and any form of energy built in to make them work. Materials are thin and not well made, but a lot of stuff is good. You have to pick and choose what to buy but when nhtgye make copies of things, they do make good stuff.
