My grandson and his girlfriend came over a few days ago, to spend a week and she dropped an earring out of the little jewelry bag she was holding. I bent down to pick it up and it was this very pearl design, with colored beads!!! I yelled, I know how to do this!!!!!! I felt so accomplished and successful. I could also tell her to go through my stash, pick out beads and I'd make another just for her. What a great feeling! Thanks so much Susan!!!

I have been binge watching your tutorials for about a week and I absolutely love this one! I would be interested to know how to make the actual earring that accompanied your bird's nest Pearl. It appears to be a strip of leather but I don't know what the connection is on either end. Do you continue this tutorial elsewhere? Also, on your right ring finger is a ring that looks like a cha cha ring. Is it a Chow Chow ring or is there a tutorial for that ring? Thank you again so much for your awesome tutorials!

Hi, I also make jewelry for my therapy to forget pain. I bought the one step looper about two years ago. It always leaves sharp ends---makes the ends scratch you! Has this tool improved? Very disappointed! Yes, I sent it back once, and then gave up on it. Has it improved? Thank you for all the info you give us!
@JewelSchool

Hi Jean! We hope so! You can always use a small electric filing tool or a triangle file to help with those elusive sharp ends should you have them. Get something small that can reach into tight places like the triangle needle file. www.jtv.com/product/triangle-needle-file/JST770?mcid=XSOjsyt

@JewelSchool
@JewelSchool 2 жыл бұрын
You can use two hands if you need to! Just get your wire in position well. Also, you can make loops with your round nose plier if you find squeezing the looper is too difficult.

Did y’all not edit this video before uploading. She calls a headpin a ball pin. Two totally different things. And she says a 20g headpin won’t fit in a pearl. Then she pulls out some wire to make a headpin for the pearl and says it’s 20g. Later , she says it’s 24g wire. Then she calls a ball pin a headpin. People watch these to learn. It’s frustrating when you post a video that has incorrect information.
