Hi Simon, Thank you for another great view. I enjoy not just your shooting and accuracy but also the other kit you use. The binoculars you're using look fantastic, and different rifles, too. I was looking at your jacket, that looks a belter. Do you buy a size bigger to accommodate more warm clothing underneath? Does it keep you dry? Out on the moors must be one of the best testing zones. I also enjoy seeing the countryside you're in and the phenomenal ranges you shoot at. It's also nice to see that someone that cares what they do is humane. Thank you.

Great video Simon, things are getting boring over this side I think the rat population have moved over to your side, mind you I’ve been trapping them like no tomorrow. I make boxes similar size to a shoe box just slightly wider than a fenn trap with a hinged lid with two pop holes either side and baited with peanut butter and when that starts to fail I use cheap shop bought pizza and tie it on with garden twine and that works every time, good old Chicago town, but other makes are available!

Another good video, Simon. Hope Jack is well. You have your air rifles dialed in spot-on. Do you have any air rifles larger than 22 caliber? If you will permit me to hijack this thread, on your Sako 223, are you using a TMOA reticle or a MIL reticle?
@simon6ppc2466 ай бұрын

@simon6ppc2466 ай бұрын

Hope you dont mind me butting in? Whilst the binoculars do affect the natural nigthvision we have, it affects both eyes at the same time so has less of an effect, or feels so. I used to have the Quantum and Helion thermal spotters and swapped those out for the Accolade LRF when that was released, it felt it was much less strain on one eye using the bino versions. i certainly suffered less of a dizzy feeling from extended viewing and felt less blinded. The Merger XP50 LRF is the same, because both eyes are viewing, it's less of a strain on the eyes. to me anyway. I find setting the brightness of the screen and icons lower helps too, as does using the black hot mode with the contrast adjusted to help with target identification. on some evenings when doing a lot of viewing or scanning, setting to the Sepia or red monochrome mode can also help to reduce the impact on the eyes and to me, feels like my natural nightvision returns just that little bit quicker.

£4700 for the XP50 LRF and £5900 for the XL50 LRF versions. Far from cheap but you do get what you pay for with Pulsar, tried and tested technology. The new HIKMICRO Habrok will likely be good sellers at £2200 for the HH35L and £2800 for the HQ35L models. I wonder if pulsar will drop their prices
