how to fix the armrest cylinder lock...without removing it....the small door latch fall inside the lock...can't be picked too small!

Salutare și apreciere pentru toată munca depusă și multele ore de documentare din spate, însă dacă accepți un mic sfat, nu mai sta cu genunchiul/i pe scaun, deoarece riști să întrerupi rezistența de încălzire. Toate cele bune!

Salut Adrian . da oare-cum ai dreptate dar din pacate nu pot levita sa nu mai mai am nevoie sa ma sprijin pe scaune ( imagineazati ce calumea ar fi sa pot levita.... ) dar de la e60 incoace toate BMW-urile nu mai au clasica incalzire cu fir de nichelina in silicon au plase din fibra de carbon mult mai rezistente ( mai sunt unele care inca mai au fir de nichelina dar doar pe aripioarele laterale ) , Multumesc pentru apreciere !

It’s there a way you could tell me which direction the pigtail goes from the button for the HUD? Long story short I just purchased a 2011 535i and noticed it has everything for HUD, lane assist ext but doesn’t work. Well I pulled the buttons out and there is no pigtail for it nor can I find it under the dash. Trying to see which route to follow without pulling entire dash for 1 pigtail.

Jesus Christ! The entire dash had to be removed to replace the HUD?? That's crazy! I would rather not have the HUD. How much do you charge for this kind of job? And so well done?

I fell almost dragged into dismatling the dashboard on my car! Perfect job. Honestly hold long it took to make the video? And probably, at least 3 times you dismantle that dashboard... prior showing us ;) anyway, great job.

Can you replace HUD by taking windscreen out? Open 2bolts up and 1down remove connectors and pull it up. Seems like a lot easier?

Mine has been broken on my F02 for a while now, seems like it’s inevitable with these cars. I’ve had a replacement in my possession for like a year lol, but it looks like too much work just for that I have the upgraded digital instrument cluster & infotainment screen, so the HUD wouldn’t work with that anyway I have a question however, I notice you don’t have the DVD player in the hidden compartment. Did the car not come with that option? Or you removed it? Because I can’t get it removed without causing the infotainment screen not to work

Hello! if you didn't see it that means the car wasn't equipped with it! You can remove-it , you need to clos the fiber optic and do some work on the LVDS cables I think...you need to check wiring diagrams!

Salut.daca îmi poți da o părere .mi-am schimbat spirala de la volan și am deconectat bateria apoi reconectată am băgat un scanner să văd ce erori am și am stat cu el cam mult .acum hud-ul nu se mai aprinde.poate să fie de la baterie? “instrument cluster. Ovidiu, i want a retrofit with BMW CarEye dashcam, but i have thermic windshield or something like that on my 2016 F15. There is said in the website of the product that isnt compatible with thermic windshield. Can you tell me why?

Hello! No you don't need to code for replacing the dashboard , you need to code when replace modules/ control units!

I have a question for you, perhaps you can help me out. I have a BMW 750 f01 from 2010 - import from Japan. The head unit is quite different in the back compared to the unit you have removed in the video. Would it be OK if I sent you a couple of photos? Maybe you have seen this configuration before. The Japanese unit has the standard pink & yellow connector, then it has 4 coax black, blue, gray and yellow. Black and blue I believe are radio and GPS, but yellow and grey? On top of this there is a small three-pin connector as well, not sure if it's microphone or something else.

Hello ! BMW e66 don't have HDD , the internal storage HDD was implemented from CIC Navi system

there's no way you have to do all that just because of HUD...I got some serious rattle sounds from the HUD area in my G82 M4 while creeping forward or backwards when the engine is shaking the most (when parking) and it's driving me nuts...and from this vid I won't be able to remove the HUD to check what's making the noise 😭💀

I'm wondering - what the hell are the BMW (and Mercedes, and many other car brand) engineers smoking when creating such a complicated design for the panels. It could be very easy to make the HUD replacable by simply taking out the instrument cluster, but here you need to dissasamble most of the interior just to get to it - it's insane.

Hello ! it is not insane at all, at the time of designing these vehicles this was the technology, there is no smaller HUD to be able to replace it just removing only the instruments cluster . on the contrary they are very well built. BUT I repeat these vehicles are not built with the idea of being able to be repaired at the edge of the curb on the street, with the necessary tools and knowledge everything is easy to repair / replace

Salut . te referi la cum l-am verificat inainte de montaj? am un banc de teste , dar si pe masina se poate daca dai la oparte instrumentele de bord si conectezi in mufa noul HUD...
