I think the micro did well plus the blocking of buildings. His melee units was mostly scrambling to targets while stutter stepping. And yes, suprisingly the armor upgrades made them really hard for blade to single out.

7:12 - because he had heal salve on it, high level creep target units/heroes that have that or any good spells on them that can be canceled by attack, stun, etc. I'm surprised Grubby doesn't know that...

High level creeps prioritize heal salves over attackers with spells? Honestly, I didn't know that. Figured they wouldn't consider something like salves into creep AI.

@@jackychen7769 Yes, they do, and it makes sense, they behave more like a good player, canceling heal is bad for the attacker. Also, high level creeps switch targets, low level creeps don't do it. High level creeps prefer to attack units with low HP, if you move such unit out of range, they will target something else, but as soon as the units comes back in range, they will switch back to it.

Man, every time I watch good wc3 I'm always amazed what a solid game it is. I think it had easily the best balance of macro/micro out of any RTS I've ever played and it's so flexible with what kind of power you can invest your resources into (as we see in the many many many many many silly challenge requests). GG!

As orc i feel like armor upgrades are always the best since it helps all units unlike other races you have armor for melee and ranged

that's totally human style. Normally they build a lumber mill to protect rifles and casters. I really liked that Grubby did it. In combination with ogre and wolves the hh were really protected.

I wonder if the towers and barracks maybe made him misunderstand your goal with that attack, this is probably why he thought it was necessary to make a catapult. He probably had alarm bells going off in his head trying to prevent a sort of late game towering strat.

I was super disappointed that you created a proxy barracks but did not use it to produce units :( Would be cool to see some weird build order that actually made use of proxy production structures in WC3.

The opponent had really great luck with vamp aura. I think otherwise it would have been much easier. He crept pretty good with images as fast as Grubby with wolves what I can tell. But I'm not a big fan of windwalk as lvl2 having images already skilled. He just stole 1 little creep with that. For scouting he used images all the game anyways. However it wouldnt change much in that game in particular. His micro was pretty good, but he made some tactical mistakes imho. From Grubby it was a very solide game without any greater mistakes. I would just have taken another creep camp to get to sh lvl3 before the attack.

If you're going for "all the buffs" on your trolls, surely you'd want Endurance aura?? That's the best aura in the entire game!!

crazy how brainless the blademaster is, you just click him on an enemy hero and 5 minutes later BM is still at 90% health.

From my perspective it was a big mistake. No need really to run into that trap. Not even sure if that demolisher was needed. TBH these towers were just a big bait by Grubby and the opponent felt for it.

This new patch is messed-up. So blizz ruined SC2, and WC3 with reforged. But we still have SC1. Let's hope that they don't touch it. And if they do, just boycot it. Actually boycot SC 2 and WC 3 as well. SC 2 for not being SC 1, and WC 3 reforged for not being TFT 1,26. F.U. blizzard, go d1e!
