3:11 I do have Hola, I don't think hola uses metallic housing. Actually this is the reason why I brought the Hola, I do have a very bad earthing in my house so you can imagine how it would feel to get shocked from a chu.

Hey, I do a lot of music production and need a neutral sound signature. I tried the Hola but they have a hissing sound for some vocals. Not sure if it was an issue with the unit. Can you suggest a pair of IEMs in the 2000s proce segment?

Only other options are chu or salnotes zero. Salnotes zero 2 is not neutral. Chu 2 has a v shape. For music production, chu is your best bet.

Hi headphone zone. Been listening to your analysis. Suggest me for an earphone with a good detailed (clear but comfortable) sound signature where I can hear the layered rich music. A clear stage but also the "fatigue less" feel. I am okay with DACs etc - pls suggest. (Hola lacks clarity and I saw that)

I've been using Blon BL 03 for the last 1 year. Unfortunately I lost it and bought Truthear Hola. It's been a month, but i think this one lacks crystal clarity in high end compared to blon. But i actually thought that truthear must be beating blon in the sound quality. I worry much because if it is a problem with my particular unit of hola as the quality disappoints. Even my friend dropped his plan of buying hola when he listened to it for a while, he is using kz zsn pro for the past 2 years.

I have a few IEMs and the Hola. Hola does lack some clarity, as you said. I bought a bunch of BL-03 for our church team - but I never owned one. I did just get the JoJo which is a Blon BL05 with tuning. I like the sound there, but the nozzle angle does not work for me and I don't "want" to wear them even though they sound good. Looking to give them to someone in our band team. My go-to is simply the Theiaudio Legacy 3 - more clarity and sound experience is good versus some of the others. It cost more but I picked it up used on eBay for $85 USD. Worth the money vs. the cheapies. Listening here to this video to consider the Chu II for a secondary.

Hola feels quite heavy in ears ... metallic surface rubs in the ear and creates discomfort in the ears.

@@aadarshpathak8478 A good ear feel is the Ziigaat Nuo which has a similar graph and resolution as the Hola. I didn't find Hola weighty, though. Nothing like a heavier metal - such as EW200 or QKZxHBB

If your phone has 3.5, then it already has a dac. If your phone can’t properly drive your headphones or earphones, then you’ll need a dongle which has an amp and dac that will bypass your phone’s amp/dac and provide more power/volume. Neutral dongles are great for maintaining the original sound of your headphones/earphones. Anything that’s not neutral will add color(enhanced treble, enhanced bass…etc).

@@pondskoi2073An usbc dongle DAC will almost always sound better than just plugging in the 3.5mm port. Unless you own an LGv40,50,60 smartphone, a dongle will have better sonic performance(cleaner sound). The guy above me is not wrong, however the phone DAC is not as good as a dongle.

@headphone_zone hey guys i want to buy Truthear - HOLA or BLON bl 03 , either of them are fine for me but Hola on your site is out of stock and BLON is higher than 2k so can you guys plz give the date i can buy HOLA because my current earphones are damaged so i need a new pair . Ita hard to live life with just left bud working so can you guys let me know when the hola will be available and is there any chance for the BLON to get under 2k . Thanks.

@@veezay2942 So Blon BL03 is not worth it now? I was also Planning to get Truthear Hola or Blon BL03. I can increase my budget but I don't like Bland Plain sound. I like bit warm sound but without over the top Bass. Can you recommend something?

@veezay2942 well, I can't increase my budget more than 2k and this is my iem too so I think the generic Truthear - HOLA fits me better . But I can't find Hola on any Indian site . Can you suggest similar iem or a site I can buy HOLA from. Thanks.

While opinions on tuning can vary, the Moondrop Chu (not the Chu 2) is generally considered to have a neutral tuning. However, everyone perceives sound differently, so it's okay to have your own take!
