I purchased a 98 Cherokee limited 5.2 v8 almost a year ago & it’s in great shape! Your videos gave me a TON of motion to put more cash into & care! I’ll upload videos soon! Blessings to you & yours! Checking in from Memphis,Tn (38118)

30 years later, I still dont understand how they stuffed 2 different v8's in these old grand cherokees. There's barely any room! My little brother has the 4.0L, straight six, still daily drives it in rust belt Toronto, and I thought that thing was nearly impossible to work on because it's a tight fit. Couldn't imagine the v8's I have the same 5.2 in a 2001 mexican ramcharger, and I can legit jump in the engine bay, there is so much room.
@98ZJ3183 күн бұрын
Considering that the 5.2 and the 5.9 are the same exterior dimensions, there is just enough room to fit either V8 into the ZJ but it is fairly tight in there with little to no room between the front accessories and the fan/radiator. In the Durango and the Ram there is plenty of space between the front accessories and fan/radiator. The hood and front fenders are longer on the Dodge trucks than the ZJ.

Yeah, that’s super clean! Love the videos man, and both your rigs. I really like the stance and the two fingers upfront// three in the rear - plus she sounds great too!

Thank you brother, really appreciate that. Finally got the stance correct and couldn't be happier with the Jeep.

Thank you brother. ZJs are amazing vehicles, I've had my 5.2 since 2007 and my 5.9 since 2013. Both were fully stock when i got them, now they are both modified. I never get bored of either Jeep. They look good, sound good, not too heavy, very quick, and built to last.

The idle is absolutely sick... I'm sure you have posted this already what heads are they?
@98ZJ3182 жыл бұрын
Thank you brother. The heads are RHS Indy X non-ported iron 2.02" Intake/1.62" Exhaust with stiffer valve springs. The heads came fully assembled with valves, valve springs, and retainers. They were $1200 but that was back in 2012 so i'm pretty sure they cost more now.

Did you have to change out shocks? What did you use?
@98ZJ3187 ай бұрын
I didn't have to change the shocks but it is recommended, they were changed a long time ago before the springs were cut. The shocks are Bilstein 4600 series.

What is thing on your exhaust? Is that an electric servo ?
@98ZJ3182 жыл бұрын
That is a 3 inch electric cutout to make the exhaust dump after the headers and Y-Pipe rather than out of the tailpipe.
