We have said it before and we will say it again-healing from pudendal neuralgia is possible!
Meet Tracy who recently came to us all the way from Dubai (that’s over 8,000 miles!) for two weeks of intensive treatment for her pudendal neuralgia. Tracy’s journey with us started before she even got to the U.S. with multiple online sessions, during which we created and taught her an individualized self-treatment program for her to start from the other side of the world.
If you think that hands-on treatment is the only way you can better, think again.
Tracy is a shining example that when patients are taught to become the CEO of their own body, and are empowered with tools to self treat their pain and dysfunction, healing starts to occur.
As Tracy will share in an upcoming video, she started implementing the specific techniques and exercises we taught her and subsequently could literally feel pressure start to lift off of her pudendal nerve!
Her pain levels started to drop and she hadn’t even stepped foot in our clinic. Tracy went from not being able to sit for more than a few minutes to sitting for very functional time periods and starting to feel human again.
By the time Tracy arrived at our clinic in Orange County, Southern California, we were ecstatic to learn that her pelvic pain and pudendal nerve symptoms were already down by over 50%!

It's actually the muscles which are causing problem because they are pressing the nerves when you sit, that's why exercise works

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have experienced the same agonizing pain for going on over a year and going from doctor to doctor looking for answers and relief..It wasn't until I was treated by a pelvic floor therapist in Austin, Texas that I began to feel some relief and more importantly hope!

The word pain is subjective…. Pain can be a discomfort making it hard to focus (moderate)… or pain can be equally intense to an orgasm when the genital nerves are involved similar to pain during child birth I’m happy to see women recover! 😅 tho I have yet to see a women recover who had bilateral neuralgia or clitoral pain along with pudendal nueralgia. Has anyone else had burning buttocks sitting bone areas AND pudendal areas? And burning in vaginal and clitoral areas? Or pain that radiates down legs? I hope one day to find a woman with a more progressed case that healed! Xoxo ❤ This woman was LUCKY to get diagnosis and treatment while symptoms were moderate. So happy for her ❤

Mine isn't worse when sitting. It's worse when standing or laying on my back. Laying on my tummy feels best. It's been 2.5yrs and it started after rotator cuff surgery. I'm getting a diagnostic pudendal nerve block next week. I'm in perfect health other than this but I was born with hypermobile SI joints. I'm praying 🙏

How are you doing? If you're having genital area pain that you believe is originating further up the spine, one possibility is the genitofemoral nerve. Your pain doesn't sound like pudendal neuralgia. Rotator cuff is obviously a completely different area, but when your under anesthesia, you never know what odd position they cold have placed you in.

Thank you Tracy for telling your emotional and physical journey. I have Pudendal nerve pain (I can't sit) due to anal /rectal muscles in spasm, causing awful PN (nerve pain). I am traveling in June to see Julie Sarton's group. I'm looking forward to it, but am frightened of the plane trip and looking for plane reservations with seats I can lie across with my foam padding!. I really admire your mind set! I choose healing as well, and would love to hear how you changed your mind set to confidence and healing when your pain was explosive, like mine. I would love some tips, so I can embark on my trip with your atttitude! Thank you again Tracy (and Julie) for this video. I hope to hear more about your approach!.

That’s the real question. Thinking is one thing… but this nerve pain is brutal. The nerve pain destroys your life. There is a reason people commit suicide because of this condition. I’m sorry but it doesn’t sound like her case is bad at all. I am going on 8 years…. And, I hate to say this so much, am losing hope & feeling helpless. But I’m trying to keep my faith up, positivity etc.

@@dianalynnelizabeth780 I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm on the same boat with you except I've only been experiencing it for about 3 months. I've been suicidal for almost a decade now and this condition has made those ideations a lot worse than they already were. To me, it just does not seem like a life worth living. If there were assisted suicide in the state I live in, I would be signing up for it. I hope everything gets better for you.

@@lukemarshall118 I’m so sorry 💔😢 and am of course completely empathetic. I hope and pray things get better for all of us. I wonder if there are research studies or research in general going on to help deal with nerve pain, I haven’t heard about it. There is no national platform for Pudendal Neuralgia. It’s not out there in the public awareness like cancer, ms, diabetes, etc. Marin Hinkle and Paige Davis both have come out with their Pudendal Neuralgia diagnosis. However, they came out in articles talking about, but are doing absolutely NO advocacy work for it all even though they have a huge platform at their disposal that the rest of us DO NOT have. I have thought about writing to them and seeing if I can get a response about getting involved. Do they even realize how many people they could help if they just used their celebrity status to raise awareness and push for research to be done? If they do and aren’t doing anything about it, shame. But if they don’t I think they need to be made aware. I would hope that maybe if people starting writing them letters, they may be willing to join forces with other PN sufferers and get out there to help make a REAL difference. I hope and pray for all of us that we find the miracles we all need so desperately. 💜🙏🏻🕊️. Edit: and the thing about this condition is that it is not ONLY a woman’s issue, men can get this too! So I really don’t understand why there aren’t any open, national efforts to truly raise awareness and get more research going. And if you hear of any research studies being done or other information, let me know. Are you in any support group sites like on fb or even just on the internet itself Luke? I know sometimes that can make one feel more hopeless ironically enough, BUT useful information can also be found in those groups by bouncing off of one another’s various experiences. Thoughts?

@@dianalynnelizabeth780 No I am not in any support groups but I am in physical therapy to try to help get rid of this condition. Because for me dealing with this condition just wouldn’t work I want to get rid of this all together because I cannot live a happy life with this condition at all. And I don’t know how you went on eight years and are still here. Because if I were in your shoes I would’ve already been gone. I am at my wits end with this condition and if this doesn’t go away within the next five years I just don’t think I can move on with life anymore. I just don’t think support is going to be enough for this. This is just way more than I can handle. Like I said I am going to give us a chance to go away but if it doesn’t then I’m afraid that’s just gonna be it for me.

Is not and they can even see that the nerve is trapped or damaged. I got this after a surgery in this aria and the nerve is trappen in a very narrow pelvic where a prolaose is pressing in to it. If ot was mental problem the pain would not go away for a while when injecting nerve block.

Mostly true. I'm having to research this again myself - after years of pain. Tense muscles, knots, can put pressure on nerves too. Stress makes my pain WAY worse. There is a psychological element, but it's hard to accept that could be the entire issue.
