I don’t think getting to a point where nothing triggers you is possible, but learning to deal with it in a healthy way is. It is important because believing that can lead to frustration when there are things that keep bothering you, which is normal for human beings. Otherwise thank you, I’ve been watching your videos for years and really like your content and you as a person❤

Yeah, we can make progress, but we don’t need to reach “perfection” ☺️ with time & healing, past triggers would grow milder and milder as you learn to move past it (at least that’s my personal experience)

Been on a healing journey for some years now. Its a journey for sure. Not linear at all. Its been TOUGH and the deeper the trauma the more you have to heal, but on the other side is sooooooooooooo........healing! A whole new world. Doing things & behaving in ways i never thought i would. I love the person i am becoming

Still to this day I get so annoyed when I have good days and then I crash down hard. Hearing from someone like you, the path is not linear you will have times where you think it’s gone and then you backtrack puts my mind at peace 😊😊

Been following along you channel for a while and I’m grateful for the beautiful content you put out. sometimes i feel like i haven't gotten anywhere with my productivity issues since so long, but now i can really see that my mindset is more rational, loving and very lavendaire (adjective :). it's a long, gradual and never ending journey where we need to do regular 180 introspections so we don't forget how far we've already come.

Thank you ❤ I found your channel recently, and I believe I was divinely guided to do so. I thought I had done a lot of healing on my inner child, but after two back-to-back relationships that ended this year, I realized I need to work on self-love more. I was looking for love from men instead. I also need to find more inner peace and self-worth, as you mentioned in this video. I am stepping back and focusing on my self right now ❤

I am cutting off my trauma bond. Someone I hooked up with is a narcississt. Super hard to breakup with him, because he reminds me of my dad. I blocked him everywhere. I won... but still thinking of him. I dance, I write, I exercise. He is still in my head.... It's been a month..
@Abundance23164
@Abundance23164 Жыл бұрын
Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself..it takes a lot more than a month to get over a toxic relationship with a narcissist. I dated several, and they also reminded me of my dad. I was engaged to one, and after I left him, it took me almost a year to heal and feel like myself again. At least you are recognizing what drew you to these types of men. That’s the most important step. Once I started healing my wounds caused by having a narc dad, I started gravitating towards kinder, more empathetic guys. It took time. Be gentle with yourself ❤

I always love your videos. We all have moments where we feel self doubt or like we didnt do enough, etc. but when I have these moments, I always think 'What would I say to others in this situation?' I would tell them this is just one moment. We all have ups and downs but, we can do better and learn and grow stronger. That's the beauty of life. Nobody is perfect but we all have the ability to grow. ✨💗🙌

I absolutely agree with what Lavendaire says as usual and also I've learned that it's important to not be hard on yourself. When you keep being hard on yourself for something that's hard you need to really ask yourself,why is this hard? Why is this difficult for me? If you journal about what specifically about that thing makes it so difficult you then give yourself a reason to be kinder than yourself. Once you have journaled about that you look back on it everytime you're tempted to be hard on yourself. Being hard on yourself is pointless and instead of pressuring yourself for unattainable expectations you have compassion for yourself over making the situation easier to deal combat.

Something I keep forgetting when it comes to healing is that the sad, dark, hard parts are part of the process. I’ve been looking at those moments as proof that I am not healing… but at the end of it I always feel more positive - so that is what I need to focus on!! ❤️‍🩹

Hey Eileen, I really enjoyed your video and your insightful perspective on the healing journey. It's clear you've put a lot of thought and personal experience into what you're sharing. The idea of healing as an ongoing, sometimes messy process really resonated with me. I have a question about your approach to healing. You mentioned surrendering to what you need to heal and being gentle with yourself during the process. How do you strike a balance between allowing yourself to feel those emotions and also moving forward in a positive way? Your insights could help me navigate my own healing journey. Thanks for the great content!

I hurt more when people close to me say something that I know is not true about me. I don't care if it's from a random stranger. But otherwise, it makes me feel that someone doesn't even know me at all... Sometimes I end up doubting myself. I just try to self reflect whether they really are saying the truth or just wanting to really hurt me. In the end, I realized that what I think about myself matters most. There is always space for improvement, but if I gave my 100% then that is enough proof for me. 😊

Aileen, I wasnt expecting to see a vid of yours that im so needing ..I thought I was alone and there you are describing that you are going through this 'phase' Id like to check better help. Can you recall how your journey of healing started...???It is hard when those who did not go through instability and dysfunction see you as lazy, or demotivated and lost, its hard when you don't have support, a team a tribe. I received strength through having a juice and talking to someone who gets it. Who is objective. I feel exhausted.
