Spending time in a hospital can be a scary even for an adult. At Sacred Heart Children's Hospital a staff of Child Life Specialists work to help young patients and families cope with the stress of their stay.

I went through school to become a teacher. then I was diagnosed with cancer, so now I really feel a calling to be a child life specialist ❤

How does one become a Child Life Specialist??

You need at least a bachelor’s degree. You then need to do an internship for at least 480 hours. You then need to take a test. You can research what majors you should take.

@@Izzy-ik4lm You really need a Master's. Getting an internship is the hardest part- they're HIGHLY competitive, so having the MS helps your chances.
