I've had a leukepheresis done. It's physically taxing because you have to sit for hours with your elbows locked.

I have not had a single treatment after being diagnosed with smouldering IGA kappa multiple myeloma in June 2019.

@@maggiebutt1949 not yet but that's life. I see haematology next month and I don't know what help they will be.

@@maggiebutt1949 I have soft bones in my legs and possibly elsewhere but haven't had any treatment yet. I live in Australia and I think I am not likely to be able to get help.

Tim, you should only get treatment for smoldering myeloma as part of a clinical trial if you have high risk smoldering. You may never progress from smoldering myeloma to active myeloma, but you want to have a doc watching that for you. There are MM specialists in Australia if you need help.
