பச்சைப்பயறு - 1 கப்
உளுத்தம் பருப்பு - 1/2 கப்
தண்ணீர்
உப்பு
செய்முறை
1. பச்சைப்பயறை 8 மணி நேரம் ஊற வைக்கவும்.
2. உளுத்தம் பருப்பை 2 மணி நேரம் ஊற வைக்கவும்.
3. இரண்டு பருப்பையும், தண்ணீரை வடிகட்டி மையாக அரைத்து கொள்ளவும்.
4. அரைத்த மாவை உப்பு சேர்த்து கலந்து 4 மணி நேரம் வைக்கவும்.
5. இட்லி தட்டில் எண்ணெய் தடவி, மாவு ஊற்றி வேக வைக்கவும்.
6. வெந்த இட்லியை இரண்டு நிமிடங்கள் கழித்து எடுக்கவும்
7. பச்சைப்பயறு இட்லி தயார்.

Nice that you did not use cooking soda or Eno but allowing fermentation for Four hours. Please let me know if this recipe can be prepared without urad for soft idlis

Can we make this batter a day before and make iddli the next morning? And how long can we store the leftover batter

Mercy Parimala sure you can but once you ferment refrigerate it. When the batter is freshly made the iDlies come out well if the batter is a day or 2 Old it’s good for dosas. Hope this is helpful
