Pineng Very developed after KL but the beauty goes to Kota Kinabalu

Water village looks poor , flimsy and run down, no matter how it is gentrified, it still looks jarring. I understand it is part of the history of poor chinese migrant, but i find it hard to apprieciate . In Sabah, we also have heaps of water villages, they are dirty, full of rubbish and make the town looks chaotic. Penang's water village is a lot more tidier than Sabah's.
