Ashley Bermudez recalls the terrifying ordeal as she ran up to her bedroom to hide while on the phone with the 911 dispatcher waiting for help to arrive. Investigators say the men got into a stolen car and sped away, crashing into a flatbed truck nearby. A man and two juveniles were taken into custody and have been charged in this case. Meanwhile, local officials are praising Ashley's courage. #InsideEdition

All the dispatcher needed to know was what was happening, that men were breaking into her home and an address to give the officers. Every extra question just put the girl at more unnecessary risk. The fact that the men found her location and she had to plead that she wouldn't tell anyone, proves this fact. Luckily the men had some humanity in them.

^Well I'm a nanny and I've babysat children older than 11 before so yeah it's not strange to think she should have had someone else around . even-though I never had a babysitter when I was in grade school because my mom never though about danger at our house but I know a lot of parents who refuse to leave their kids alone despite being preteens or not.

im 11 and I stayed home by myself a few times. My dad went like around the corner to go to the store. I walk around the mall by myself and walk to stores by myself. Its just the trust they have I guess. And that their child is getting older
