I've never seen someone react to this Sleep Token song, in particular, let alone for a FIRST reaction... I wonder why you chose this one, out of all of them? Thankfully ST only drops bangers lol. I would highly recommend Take Me Back to Eden, Ascensionism, Euclid, Apparition, The Summoning, Atlantic, and/or Rain. However, every song is incredible. I haven't heard a single ST song that I haven't enjoyed in some way. Their variance is incredible.

His British accent shows through a ton, which is why I think you got the "cursive" singing vibe.

When I found this band, I binged all three of their albums immediately and continued to listen to them nonstop for months. All their music is epic storytelling with tortured emotions and mad science experimentation with music genres.

oh, I'm happy, finally Sleep Token Vessel's voice is very deep, you can feel the emotion in his voice, and that's one of the reasons why I really like his vocals. He has a very big range. He can hit the highest notes and go down to guttural screams (in just one song lol) I'm looking forward to “Take me back to Eden”, it's not just a song, it's a masterpiece. Also, I recommend listening to “Blood Sport (from the room below)”, it's a very beautiful emotional song

@thevocalyst - These sleep token albums are a whole journey. The closing song to the trilogy of albums, EUCLID, is extraordinary song writing perfection. The closure and healing all Sleep Token fans needed. It’s the realisation it’s all over. It’s okay to look back at the good times. But ultimately it’s okay to move on. It’s time to be somebody new. It’s so fucking beautiful. Loaded with callbacks from songs and moments, notably tied directly to the open song on the first album ‘the night does not belong to God’. One worth checking out for you particularly would be the live version of ‘Bloodsport’ from the room below.

Take Me Back to Eden is not "a lot to take in" in the sense that it is overwhelming or anything. Its just simply a beautiful song that is constructed in such a magical way that it is truly an unforgettable experience to listen to for the first time. I hope that you will react to it sooner than later. I've seen so many reactors say they will definitely listen to more or excited to hear more and then they don't release another ST reaction for months. I get that there are a ton of requests and songs out there to listen to, but I just can't understand how some people can hear ST and not want to immediately dive deep into the rabbit hole. ST reactions do numbers too. Worship.

I actually get excited when people that really “get” music discover sleep token. It’s one heck of a journey full of discovery, emotion, and reflection. I do recommend starting on their first album through the third chronologically for reasons.

I loved this reaction/analysis. I always enjoy reactors that are able to give additional information wither about vocals or an instrument or production. I also loved the choice of your first Sleep Token reaction. Perfect song and I'd love to see more reactions. ❤ Btw Vessel, the singer, also recordered all the other instruments except drums(that did the drummer named II).III (bassist) and IV(guitarist) are so far just part pf the touring. So Vessel is so freaking talented to sing, write, compose the songs and play all those instruments 🔥

The best way to listen to this song is with headphones on laying down in a dark room, just let the atmosphere of it wash over you. Always makes me emotional.

Not only the vocals but the drumming is a journey in itself. II is amazing.

Interesting stuff! Described on Google; A anonymous, masked collective, the front man with the moniker Vessel! There's so many details into their songs, for example: When you listen to Vore (one of their heaviest songs yet, or the heaviest) you can hear at the very beginning a swallow sound, which makes sense for the song. Here, that "crackling" noise is present in the "back" almost the entire song, those are thin layers that adds so much to each song.

I recommend Bloodsport. From the room below version to get a good grasp of how great a vocalist Vessel is as its just him and a piano. Beautiful song.

I'd be curious to hear you do "Unintended" by Muse, because I think the song is hauntingly beautiful but a vocal performance major I roomed with in college said the singer's technique is terrible. I still think about that every time I hear the song! 😆🥂🎉

Sleep Token is such a versatile band and I adore them! With a wide array of different type of songs, some being soft and vunerable, some being high energy and really ´in your face´ and everything in between. A true musical journey if you ask me. Never heard of them before but I'm impressed I like their style love their sound, will search out more of them 👍. Surprised I haven't seen anything by Evanescence, she reminds me of this kinda not that they sound a lot alike more like they both kinda have the same mesmerizing effect on me so to say. There's just something amazing about each of their sounds I don't know what it is, great song will definitely be hearing more from them, thanks whoever suggested it, good call.

Huh...I thought Sleep Token was just very heavy all the time. I guess because I saw "the Charismatic Voice" had Will Ramos over to listen to it. I do expect them to go heavy at times. My friend introduced me to Sleep Token last year with a song called The Summoning because it's basically ADHD for metal heads. I like their stuff. Unfortunately metal just isn't where my heart is these days so I haven't delved their back catalogue. This is also my first time for this song and I bloody like it! With that being said, these days my heart sits with American country music, so could you maybe react to something by Tyler Childers, maybe?
