@@fender.munoz7 She lost a lot of her high range around 2019; she's still got a phenomenal lower range, but it's clear here they still need to rehearse a bit. I saw them in 2016 and it was one of the best live vocal performances I've ever seen, but at 73 she just isn't going to sound like she did at 30.

@@markgray6982 I saw the 78 tour and most of the tours since then. No, it wasn't that far from 70s Heart, but anyone thinking Ann is going to sound at 73 like she did at 30 is naive. The biggest difference between this and 70s Heart is Ann's voice is 40 years older and doesn't nail the high notes as well; otherwise it sounds like they always have. One other more minor difference is that in 78 Nancy played an acoustic on Barracuda which we could hear in certain spots and now they clearly don't have an acoustic playing along.

I was too young to see them during the Dog and Butterfly tour, but I've heard (and seen on video) that was the band's absolute best tour. The Largo 1978 concert on KZfaq is pretty incredible. Of their 80s/90s big tours I thought the Bad Animals tour in 87 was the best they sounded. Wasn't crazy about their sound mix on the 1985, 1990, or 1994 tours but 1987 they got rid of some of the polish and sounded really heavy and distorted.

@@chrisacer6605Well, Ann and Nancy are the two long-standing members of the group and there have been some incredible musicians in the group over the years. Would it be great to see a reunion of the original, RRHoF lineup? Hell yes! But the musicians in this group are all insanely talented and been loyal to Ann and each other as a band for at least the last 3 years and seem to have clicked really well with Nancy as well. There have been 30 plus different members of Heart over the years. These guys are just the newest and some of the best ones. I will be catching this tour as many times as possible. One thing about Heart is they'd never do that. Even back in the day when they'd appear on shows where bands were told to lip sync Ann generally refused; they'd use an instrumental backing track to whatever song but Ann would sing live. I've saw them live during their resurgence in the 80's and then again 20 some-odd yrs. later, and was blown away both times. Ann Wilson is fortunate to be one of those vocalists whose voice has remained remarkably unchanged over the years, and she's showing no signs of quitting any time soon.
