Maybe this is her wake-up call. Ann recently went out of her way to bash 3 original Heart members' performances during reunion for the R&R Hall of Fame. 10 years later! It was personal. I've always thought she came across as a fat diva. Delta Burke with a mic...Not the best voice, but it is great. Never seems to be a real band onstage. The Ann & Nancy show. They really do wish to be a duo like Hall & Oates, Simon & Garfunkel... NO.

I remember Marseille. I hope Ann gets well. Up here in the Pacific Northwest, Heart are deeply revered. I never got to see them, but I saw the Wilson sisters play an acoustic set at the state capitol back in the 90s.

Heart is my favorite female band. I was a kid when I saw clips of them live for the Rock in the Dome in New Orleans or the Super Dome Extravaganza. Back then I was in love with Ann because she was so cool and her voice or vocals sounded so witchy, I just could not help myself. I dug it when they came out in the 80's too, with Alone, and what about love, and I saw them on tour at a casino in Biloxi Miss. And at the house of blues in NO. But our bodies start to deteriorate the older we get. I am hoping for the best.

I think Heart was my second concert too. June 1980 Bebe Le Strange. First show was Styx in 1979. Heart will never get back to their 1970s sound without the original guys, especially Roger Fisher. He is still the same guy he basically was - a hippie sort of guitarist. He's grounded - not a "rock star" type. Check out his videos on KZfaq and his social media. His solo CD "Evolution" is phenomenal and would have been the best Heart album since Dog and Butterfly or Bebe if the Wilsons had contributed to it. The Wilson sisters are very removed from reality in their day to day activities. Kay Hanley is awesome! Saw Letters To Cleo probably 4 times on their Wholesale Meats and Fish tour and next one if I'm not mistaken. Rochester twice I think, Buffalo and Ithaca NY. She was over the top. She was so into the music it was ridiculous and she was bumming cigarettes from a guy up front she named "cigarette boy." It was hilarious. Great band!

So thankful I saw Heart in the early 80s and through the 90s. Best female rock vocalist of the 70s through the late 90s bar none. Prayers for Ann🙏 I'd also add Darby Mills of the Canadian band the Headpins and Darby is still rockin and a good friend.
