A ventricular septal defect or VSD is a birth defect where there is an abnormal connection between the two ventricles of the heart. VSD is the most common heart defect.

Living with this for 28 years, nothing stops me to do dancing, hiking, and other physical activities. But I’m still worried what will happen in the next couple of years. My doctors advised me that I have to go for an open heart surgery in the future.

I have this but my hole is so small that it may still close by itself. And even if it doesn’t now that I’m moving onto being 15 and its closure chances reduce with older age there will be no particular worries with me.
