Heart - Crazy On You Intro Cover

On July 10, 2023, we will be opening for Ann Wilson from the legendary band Heart at the Festival d'été de Québec, a dream come true for us. I've been a fan of Heart since I first heard the song Crazy On You, on the video game Guitar Hero 2. I didn't even play guitar at the time, I was maybe around 8 years old but I absolutely loved that game and all the songs on it. I got to see the band Heart live in 2019, in Montreal. Crazy On You is still my favorite Heart song, I've always loved that melodic guitar intro, followed by the great riff, and Ann's sweet and powerful vocals, such a great musical and iconic song! Here's my take on it, using my cheap Takamine acoustic and my Gibson Les Paul, enjoy! 🤘

Jacob, this makes me so happy! As a singer, Heart were my idols growing up in the 70s. This intro takes me right back to that point in time. It's so beautiful (may I say that a little more vibrato on the D-F interval is needed please). But hey, my old pal Tom Bukovac will most likely be at your gig playing guitar for Ann! You may already know him, which is my hope, but if you don't, let me know and I'll hook you up! Wouldn't it be cool if you got to get up and play this intro with them??? Whoo Hoo! That would ROCK! Anyway, thanks again for this wonderfully played intro to one of my ALL TIME FAV songs EVER! Beautiful job! You ROCK! ❤🤘🎸
