Thanks for sharing this Isaac! Always wanted to know how do your team communicate on stage. Do you follow hand signals from the lead vocal on the flow of the song? Or do you lead both band and vocals? Can the vocallists hear you on the in-ear monitors when you shout out instructions into your mic? This is great, and man the skills are great. BUT - it gets to a point when it's no longer praise and worship (worshipping GOD) - instead it's a performance. Not exactly what we are called to do. But again - the skills are awesome. Just be careful and guard your heart man. If your performing every Sunday - how much room are you really leaving for the Holy Spirit..? Be blessed man..

@@Izzyyrodd so remember, I'm still saying you're skills are amazing. What I am saying is when there are clicks and sounds and direction taking place through worship - then there is no way focus on the Holy Spirit is taking place. Now say you play 2x a month -that means that 26 Sundays out of the year, you are paying attention timing, sounds, whether the drum is on beat - whether the singer is on time - etc etc -Not the Holy Spirit. So all I am saying is to make sure you guard your heart make space and make room. Yes I have a spec. In fact I have hundreds. Adding advice to an awesome person with a great gift to ensure you don't get lost in performance, was in no way judging you. Be blessed man...no worries...
