Also, go to therapy, folks! You won't regret it. And you will find out all the trauma you had when you were a kid and realize it's why you do and say things... Therapy is everything. And when you're ready to have kids, you make sure you stop that cycle of abuse so your kids will not have the same traumas you did and they become differentiated adults.

Finally! A good amount of filipinos are getting your kakikayan now. That your love for fashion, different things is part of your expression of art not automatically materialism. Most of the time, they tag "magpakatotoo" as being "masa, nagtatagalog lang, nagmumura" and not when you're being real that you're not like that. You're like Van Gogh! I haven’t been in a good place for what feels like a loooooong time. But lately I have been feeling more… happy. Its not the laughing out loud happy but just… sipping tea and staring out in a garden, happy. It’s like after so much time desperately gasping for breath, I am now just… floating. I know that there will be hard times still but I feel more stable. It’s always a pleasure watching you Ate Heart! You’re so very inspiring and tbh, you helped me a lot with my body dysmorphia. I’ve been more adventurous with clothes and it seems so simple pero it helped a lot with everything. I just wanna say… thank you. 🙂❤️

I just believed that mental health word is for rich people..Imagined like poor people cannot afford any professional therapy , the courage to face their anxiety etc was God' s miracle. I just hope in the future mental therapy was available for poor people in anywhere in a convenient way and free. I love heart when she said the soul is the most important ❣️❣️❣️

I know it's too late to watch this video but I am very grateful youtube took me to this vlog. I was super worried about everything that's happening, my upcoming graduation, my finances, my unfinished thesis, what's next after I graduate. I am stressed out!!! Hi Heart, I'm glad you mentioned Mod Magazine. It was a huge magazine then in coloured and black and white pages. I even bought a copy of you in the cover with John P. ❤️ Haha! I worked as an editorial staff at Mod years ago and like you, I enjoyed being around artists and dreaming like becoming them. It was really a fantastic experience though I didn't become one but I'm glad I became a teacher and be able to live not just for myself but for others like my lovable students as well. 💕 I always admire and support you. THIS THIS THIS. Especially in filipino culture where 'mental health' is practically non-existent (until recently), awareness is so important. I can't even count how many times my filipino friends including myself have been told to just be "happy" and "atleast you're not..." it is so incredibly invalidating and even more exhausting when people from your OWN family and community make you look/feel crazy. I love your advice and take on self-love SO MUCH. I'm still in the process of learning how to love myself and it is by no means a walk in the park, it takes courage and strength to actually look at yourself in the mirror and say "Yes, I love this version of me, the past me and I will love what I will become". THANK YOU Heart for being such a good role model and an overall amazing person. You deserve all the good things that have come and will come your way.

That's why I decided to resign as my work environment played a big factor in my mental health issues. I know that I can't afford to lose myself again.
