At some point during the non-contact period, I had texted my other half to see him again, but didn't hear from him the night he was supposed to come over. A week later I apologize about something and he mentioned that he had car trouble that particular night and apologized. Last Wednesday found myself texting him again for a similar reason and this time he mentioned that he would be getting off work at 5 p.m. last night. At 6 p.m. last night, I asked him in a text if he wanted a gift card that I got with something that I had ordered from walmart.
