Oh boy, Silver Bells 🔔. My very favorite Christmas 🎅 song. That’s because when I was about a 6 or 7 year old girl there was a Christmas 🎄 parade in our town and my mother and I went to see it. It wasn’t really cold but the snow was falling gently down when Silver Bells was playing. How I would love to go back to that moment in time. 😊😊

This episode is all over the place. I'm sure they made it up as they went along. Oh, and the music overpowering.

I know, Heartbeat seemed to be getting worse as time went on, up until about series 10 it was pretty watchable, but from series 10 onwards it became ridiculous. It's supposed to be Christmas, and yet judging by the trees in the background with leaves it's obvious it's summer time. Why didn't they just film the episode around October so that it would look like winter?.

There is no way it is supposed to be Christmas time or winter, it looks like it's summer time. When there is normally a christmas episode they normally film the episode around October time when the leaves have all fallen off the trees, but it looks like they filmed this episide in either June, July or August. They didn't have a clue what they were doing, it's like they wanted to get the episode filmed asap and sod what month it was and hope noone would notice lol. They were probably more bothered about making so many episodes per series and didn't care about the continuity and bad storylines so long as Bill and Ethel OAP in their recliners with their cups of tea and cakes were happy that Heartbeat was on a Sunday night lol.

Never the same without Greengrass, and in my opinion it lost a bit of something when Blaketon left the police

I love Heartbeat but yes both Greengrass and Blaketon were both very strong characters and very much missed as there were many episodes which involved one or the other or both.

I had forgotten how cultural Marxist this brainwash programme was. I recently saw a repeat of an episode where nurse who was quite recently bereaved of her husband had decided to not return to work after maternity leave (I am sure maternity leave didn't even exist at the time the programme portrays! Women who had babies almost always became housewives to raise their children at least until school age, so maternity leave wasn't even thought of). A few more minutes into the episode, a plod asked his solicitor girlfriend why she though the nurse wasn't going back to work. The character of the solicitor gf replied the nurse was "an overanxious mother''. This wasn't said to the nurse herself though and she knew nothing of the conversation. However, a little later in the episode there was a local flu pandemic and the hospital was overloaded with cases. The nurse then decided to return to work after all because her small baby "needs me, but not all the time - and I'M not a selfish overanxious mother". No mention of a suitable childminder who would fit in with shift work in a small village, either. Ridiculous. Various other incorrect portrayals of the time in various episodes, all cultural Marxist in influence including everyone except horrible strict fathers having sympathy and being supportive of girls in their mid teens being pregnant and keeping their babies. This was still frowned on at the time and the episodes made no attempt for any of the characters to explain why single parenthood isn't the best choice for anyone involved, especially not the child and especially not for a mid teen. Quite a lot else. It was filmed to programme/brainwash people into a mindset which has proven to be very destructive to family life, the stable upbringings of children and the happiness of the nation in general. The family with housewife mother's was the back bone of society. Destroy stable families and society is destroyed - and made ready to be rebuilt in a manner which isn't good for families, nor children nor adults. All involved in making this and any similar series have helped to foment the corruption of our once mostly decent, safe society. I doubt they even realise it and if they do in retrospect, I doubt they care. In fact I am sure they would argue that the better society we had, was actually bad. It wasn't. Of course it was never perfect but it was a damn sight better than it has become - and it's still degenerating. There seems to be no end to our deterioration. I remember happy families with two parents at home, the man usually earning enough to keep a wife at home to be the constant figure for 4 and more children. I remember children including myself who had a mum at home who took us to school, then collected us, then gave us tea, etc and we always felt safe and loved. How many children of working single parents have that feeling of security and of being totally loved now? Strangers paid to mind children aren't going to actually love them and bother helping their minds and characters to develop. They simply leave the children to themselves not much interacting with them, nor showing them how to draw, colour paint etc. I made the mistake of trusting a nursery then a childminder, and saw this first hand. They don't actually CARE enough about other peoples children. It's as simple as that. The children are merely a job to them. Not to mention an over-representation of male to female and female to male transgenders in the cast.
