I've liked Brendan Fraser since 1992, when I first saw him in "California Man"/"Encino Man" (I was still living in London at the time & it was called CM over there). He's versatile & deserves all the awards & recognition he received for "The Whale".

He's one of the actors that really influenced our childhood and we are proud to witness him in every stage of his and our lives, from laughing and getting excited to see him action to crying and deeply connected to his character we all grew up. @Brendan Fraser I’m not sure. But I noticed how you seemed to be totally A listed then disappeared. That sort of bugged me and I was a bit worried that something happened to you. Especially after the Third Mummy sequel disaster. Now knowing what you went through and weighing it against Hollywood’s hypocrisy and back stabbing seeing you really pulling out all the stops in your acting chops I’m very happy. You have a depth as an actor that is unusual in these days of blockbuster movies. I’m just so happy to see a brilliant actor rise up from what seemed to be ashes and show the world what real acting is all about. Congratulations Mr. Fraser! I really like actors but I’m not crazy about movie stars. You are definitely an actor and deserve to be appreciated as such! Glad you’re back!

It’s disgusting how Hollywood treated Brendan Fraser. They should be ashamed of themselves. 😡 Brendan is literally one of the sweetest human beings to ever walk this earth. He is so talented and an incredible person. Watching his performance in The Whale last month made me a fan of his. I can see why he won the Oscar for Best actor. It was so well deserved. An inspiring comeback that he truly deserves so much. I send him best wishes and I cannot wait to see him in more movies. 🤩💜

He was very badly used by the Industry and betrayed by his own wife, what a story. Why his Oscar 2023 win has been so heartening. People can be pretty short-sighted sometimes. The idea of criticizing Fraser for wearing a fat suit overlooks the fact that gaining an excessive amount of weight, especially in a short period of time, can be detrimental to one's health. In some cases, it causes irreversible damage. Case and point - Jared Leto's weight gain to play Mark David Chapman in Chapter 27. It's so rewarding to know that Brendan Fraser earned himself an academy award for The Whale. He deserves it, and I have been a fan of his for a very long time.
