Welcome back for another #HBNotebookChallenge video. I’m so excited to share some of these beautiful setups and new notebooks that I’ll be using this month and for months to come.
The HeartBreathings Notebook Challenge is a monthly challenge to take those beautiful notebooks you’ve been too scared to mess up or you’ve been waiting for a “special” occasion to use and JUST USE THEM! I promise you’ll gain more joy from actually using your notebooks than from having them sit there unused for years, so let’s chat about the different ways we’re currently using our beautiful notebooks.

I absolutely love your monthly notebook challenges. I started to use my notebooks to keep track of my audio books to write notes and keep me focused. I am now listening to The Stand by Stephen King before watching the TV series with my husband. My husband is reading the book and I just started to listen to the book. You are amazing and stay blessed always.

one of my notebooks is for my mental health. I use one for my writing class with my day program for adults with Autism. I do have a gratitude journal. I would use the notebook for my Spanish class with my day program for adults with Autism for notes during Spanish class.

I love these videos, I get my pile of notebooks and crawl in to bed and get ideas of what to use mine for. I love doing brain data dumps, and I have a ritual that I burn all my brain data dump (journals) on New Years Eve at a beach bonfire. Fresh start.

I watched this video last night. Today I was inspired to go find and use a great notebook I had saved and it turns out…I only have cheap half-scribbled-in school notebooks for my kids or one that WAS nice but the toddlers got ahold of it. 😆

Thank you for wanting to give away the beautiful notebook! I use mine to plan my garden, my art work projects, writing, things I want (need) to renovate in my cottage. When I heard your opening comments I wondered to myself why so many of us love notebooks. Obviously, it helps with being organized but it seems more than that. I'm interested in why that is...I'll have to research haha. 🙃

I have an artist friend who for every sketchbook she gets, no matter how expensive, she will scribble on the first page. Just take a pen or whatever and make a bunch of scribbles, like a 2 year old got ahold of it. She says she read form a famous artist that it takes the pressure off for that sketchbook to be perfect.

I love notebooks so much, but I struggle so hard with coming up with ways to use them, and then I feel guilty for wanting another one because I've got a dozen empty notebooks in my office. These vids are always so encouraging and inspiring, thank you so much for all you do!!

I only use two planners and one notebook for journaling but I need to get better about it! Don't worry, I think you're doing amazing and I can't wait to see an update on how it's all going. Not letting the note books gather dust struck a cord with me. I was just talking to my friends about how we buy pretty notebooks then let them sit on the shelf because we don't feel we have anything special to write in them. I'm feeling encoraged to use my old notebooks, even if I'm not writing a masterpiece in the most perfect script.

So far, I have only one journal for everything and it's all I can do to keep up with it! That said, I would like to keep a separate journal just for quotes and affirmations and things that inspire me, including the beauty of the world around me; another to record the books I've read (The Hacienda is definitely going to be one of those); and another as a dream journal. Now that I've learned to make junk journals, I can make my own tailored to my specific desires but that doesn't mean I won't continue to buy the premade ones. We won't even mention the ones I already have!

I love your notebook videos. It makes me feel better about myself. Lol. I have a notebook hoard. One of my favorites is a Harry Potter notebook my daughter gave me for Christmas two or three years ago. That notebook is precious to me so I do not want to write in it unless it is really special. She really wants me to write in it, but I can't bring myself to do it yet.

I have always loved these videos. I love seeing how you use your notebooks. Luckily I have never had a problem with being afraid to mess up a notebook, mainly because I have always chosen notebooks that are plain on the outside with beautiful paper on the inside. My current empty notebook collection consists of 4 Nanami Cafe Notes notebooks and 5 Midori MD notebooks both in A6 and B6 slim. I also have a collection of 10 Leuchtturm notebooks in A5 and A6 sizes. I would love to see a video about your writing craft books.

OMG I don't always comment on your videos but I always watch them on both channel and take so much inspiration from you. What blew my mind this time around was that you were going to be using the Erin condrin Hello Kitty to make a manifestation journal. And that's what I have done with one of mine (a bit different from yours because it's the pink with the hello kitty and friends at the bottom in gold but so far one of the manifestation has happen which is finding a house that I can turn into a working studio and getting a rental for the upstairs!) You have really inspired me so much. I just ADORE Kate Spade and was so sad when she passed. I would love to win this notebook. Thanks for the chance to win. But most of all thank you for all the inspiration and the being very down to earth.

I have a beautiful notebook that I started letters to my daughter in when she was born. I love the idea of a manifestation notebook. I'm just learning about manifestation so a notebook for that is an amazing idea.

I love the Charlotte Bronte quote. She is my all time favorite author. I have loved her since I was a little girl. I got this notebook where the lines of the pages are small type of entire book of Jane Eyre. It is so beautiful. I am using that notebook to write quotes I love. It took a long time to write my first quote in it. I love using multiple books/planners and It is all because of you. I use to be very afraid. So thank you. ❤

I think it's an amazing idea todo a video on your writing books! I have so many I want to get, and I noticed that KU and prime reading has a bunch on them as well. While not hte ideal format, it's at least a start fomr those who can't afford paperbacks.

I've just started a vinyl collection, so I'm using one of my notebooks to record what I've got, when I bought it and how much for, and a short review.

That is something I have never had to worried about with notebooks, I will use them. I have discovered that it doesn't have to me that is finishing a notebook. I can buy my daughter notebooks and she will use them for sketch books and she goes through a ton of books that way. So i get the enjoyment of notebooks being filled through my daughter. which is great because it takes me a while to finish notebooks. I'm such a dork, Hahahaha!

I keep a journal for my daughter Amelia-Rose and plan to give it to her when she is 21. I love to fill it with memories and life lessons. She’s 6 now and I’ve really enjoyed keeping that journal.

Im always excited to see the notification for the notebook challange! I love my Websters pages notebook holder. I have that exact same one. I use it for my notebook for my writing group I attend. I recently purchased a hobonichi cousin. Because I feel if I can have everything in one place it may just help with my daily journaling. I will let you know how that works out.

Been using a lot more notebooks. Trying to organize ideas for a story and I'm thinking that I should world build and establish the "rules of the world" before I truly start writing as I personally hate when the rules of the world contradict themselves through a story. So I gave myself permission to use a few notebooks for ideas world building etc and another to write ideas for the story and scenes before I pick a notebook to organize it beautifully and another one or the PC to actually write the story, altho I love writing by hand so will probably to the first draft by hand and then expand and make changes when I pass it to the pc.

I'd love to see your writing books! I'm always looking for new ones. Love that teal stars notebook. Lay flat dot grids are my favorites. So excited for The Hacienda, it was one of my BOTM picks for May as well. I'm adding it to my June TBR list. Thanks for inspiring us to use our notebooks!

Since I started watching your videos, I now have a manifestation notebook, a story plot notebook and another one where I keep progress of my goals. I am a notebook/journal fan as well. I use a dashboard Happy Planner and have written in a journal off and on but recently committed to writing at least a little each morning. It has been very good and sets up my day to nourish myself first thing before the busyness of the day sets in. I enjoy your ideas for writing in notebooks.
