I want to tell people that if you stay slim , eat healthy, then you can definitely live long..my father diagnosed with DCM at 64 lived still 77..He took medicines and roamed on most days..I still don't know whether he died due to arrhythmias or some infection affected his heart , but I know wherever he is, he must be happy..I miss him a lot and I needed him for at least 2 years more to see my best days (my career growth etc )..I miss him and I will always love him forever as he gave me full freedom and he was an amazing person with good thinking..

I had three heart attacks. One major one. I'll never forget that pain. It felt like I got stabbed in my upper back. Vomiting sweating. Stiff neck. It happened two years ago. I had too get three stents. Then scar tissue caused another heart attack. I was lucky. That heart attack was detected by my heart monitor vest. It doesn't get any easier. Now I live with weaknesses numbness nausea abdominal pain. I'm always so tired. I'm 58 now I don't think I have that many years left. I feel like I'm getting worse now. Its hard going through life knowing that you have a disease that is probably going too end your life. I actually need another heart surgery but my heart is too weak.one of my stents moved its affecting another artery. Sorry for this being so long.

I was a heart failure patient when I was in my teen. I reversed it back to normal by taking CoQ10 in Ubiquinol form with PQQ, Magnesium and Carnitine. After a few months, my leg swelling is gone. My heart doctor checked my heart and it's back to normal. I realized that Heart Failure is all about being low on those important nutrient. It's just like a battery going weak in the car. When we charge it back up, it goes back strong. I wish the best luck to all heart failure patient who can try supplementing them and wish they will work for them.

I have heart failure I had died 38 minutes to years ago fortunately I was with people who started CPR until the EMTs arrived 38 minutes later they tried very hard to bring me back I was clinically dead until they tried one more defibrillator in the ambulance I was told and I received a heart rate I was one out of a hundred that would survive this type of heart failure for so long I was fortunate and blessed I did not have brain damage nearly three years have gone by and now I'm beginning to feel tired again shortness of breath if I am I under stress or activities more than normal I'm afraid to drive and fear I might pass out... I do have a defibrillator implanted also on medication to keep the heart rate regular along with blood pressure pill... I limit my carbs sugar and try to eat healthy more vegetables and fruit yes I feel deprived as if I need some energy food such as protein I do eat plenty of eggs chicken and fish on occasion I may have a hamburger and that's really not the best for my condition... I just count every day as a blessing when I crossed over I was with Jesus I won't go into the episode of my encounter on the other side other than I was in the arms of Jesus I saw heaven was so Miracle asleep beautiful all my loved ones were there greeting me and setting a table for my arrival I felt extreme joy beyond words I did see the face of Christ he was so beautiful and yet he had the weight of the world in his eyes as if he wanted to hold everyone in his arms and take them away from all the pain that's going on in the world... He placed me to the ground as I knelt before him I felt so humble and I felt a warm bath go over me I heard his voice say to me my child my child it is not your time yet you still have much to do that's when I woke up in the hospital they told me I was one out of a hundred that would ever survive something like this cardiac arrest... Everyday I think could be my last but I am not afraid I am only concerned for my children When I'm Gone the separation of the journey is sometimes just as difficult but the one that leaves this life unexpectedly... Count each day is a blessing be kind to one another love one another tell them that everyday never forget the special times you leave with them... God bless those that have to live this way but sometimes it's good we are more blessed knowing that each day is very precious thank you for this Vital Information I did not know anything about not drinking so much water I am glad I discovered this video sometimes the doctors don't tell you all this

Thank you very much for this video. This video was spot on for detecting congestive, heart failure. We saw the signs with my uncle 55 yrs old, constantly tired, coughing quite a bit and he said, he couldn't sleep laying down. He was 30lbs overweight but had a real loss of appetite. All this was 5 months ago. Now on medication, eating healthier and a more consistent exercise plan he has the energy & strength he had in his mid 30's.

To Seremonii, A heart PCP doctor would sometimes refer patients with a struggling heart to a pacemaker surgeon-specialist whom he is *very* familiar with. I heard one PCP doctor in BK/NY repeat, in jest, what the hospital specialist said: "You make us work -- but you *don't bring us the work!"* The piecework thing sounds scary.

What meds they have gave me is not making me feel that much better. I had this for years and thought it was joint pain. I have dropped 40 pounds am still losing more..I try to do some exercise around the house..everyday..it's all I can manage..the doctors said my heart not pumping blood like it should..I'm scared. I'm not ready to leave this earth yet..I'm 67 years old. I admit a lot of it is my fault..I drank alcohol heavily for years until I quit cold turkey in 2021..I smoked cigarettes for 40 years ever since I was a teen..I quit a decade ago. I couldn't go down the street a block without gasping for breath. But recently twice last week I forced myself to walk to the store because I sometimes use the bus and it is slow to arrive. I don't know if exercise helps me at this point. I am 67 years old and hope it isn't too late for me. I had a stress test ..I failed it. I was put on metroprolol and a statin..the doctor didn't stress about supplements ..I need more info..so I'm getting a second doctor because I want to live.

Please, It is critical that people learn the truth about *the scandal that is statins.* Many competent doctors responsibly warn of the dangers and the debility caused by statins and the colossal cholesterol myth. Also, learn about the enormously important role that *magnesium* plays especially for the heart, but also for the health in general. It is well documented that eighty percent of the population at large is seriously deficient of magnesium. That virtually all drugs rob the health of magnesium is well-established fact.

I also have had clinical depression that keeps me from doing exercises and eating healthy foods as I dont go shopping or cook . I think depression is going to kill me. Oh ya I have sleep apnea been tested 3 times and wasn't good. My insurance is still requiring me to take another sleep test . They have no idea how hard it is for me to actually make an appointment and show up . Little things like that are hard to do .I have gone way downhill after my parents passed away, my wife divorced me and I lost my job of 21 years because of my depression and back pain. This woman is wrong, not all canned food has salt. I found canned fruit to have zero salt. I was recently diagnosed with OHF and I made all the stupid mistakes. How I survived is anyone's guess. I ended up in the hospital 5 times and it was a growing hatred of hospitals that sobered me up. Now I listen to my doctors and aggressively apply the basic advice and physical therapy. My recovery has been astonishing, this is day 2 and I'm walking with great balance capable of independent living. I'm working on diet now, my goal is less than 1,000 mg of salt a day. I'm learning there are all kinds of ways to eliminate salt. The rewards of accomplishment and feeling better actually makes this a fun activity. Not dying at 70 is just the bonus. Thomas

If the out come is CHF do what the Doctor tells you to do lose as much weight as you can stay active Eat Healthy take the meds if they are given to you diffently take the fluid pill furosemide if it is given to you take the Coreg if it is given to you Don't take it lightly cause if you do like I did the condition gone get worst and it can lead to other heart disease stop it at the start so it don't progress

@Richard Johnson I showed symptoms of heart failure and caught it early. I’m on furosemide and pretty much all my symptoms went away. My edema is reduced, I’m no longer coughing up phlegm, gained my appetite, and my energy is returned. I plan on cutting out sodium from my diet and continuing furosemide daily. Do you have any other recommendations?

Lately i have been getting dizzy and having a dry cough with heart skips also a lose of appetite (feeling like I'm full) and have to force myself to eat but even so only getting around 70% of calories they recommend. Don't know if it is heart failure but i get the feeling if it is i have had it for a while without really knowing it and just thinking most of the symptoms were do to being 300 pounds I just had a 48 hour heart monitor test but i don't know if the test works to find heart failure i would like to know to say goodbye to my family...

I would say yes.. at that size, you need to get the weight off NOW. I just turned 52, was up to 273 as a truck driver, 6'2. I knew my health was getting worse as the weight kept climbing over the years. I wor driving, lost 40lbs, felt fine. Then i gained 5 one week, 5 the next... okay, then boom 10 the next. I couldn't breathe couldn't sleep. Felt like i was dying.. checked into the ER. They pulled 20lbs of fluid with the powerful diuretics. You pee a lot. Some other drugs, to reduce blood clots, by day two I could breathe, by day three was down nearly 15 pounds and could breathe much better, day 4 perfect breathing, 20 pounds down. I'm arty 15% and get my 3 month best tomorrow. I am in good shape other than the failure, so I'm hopeful. I had a terrible diet. Salt, salt, and more salt. So, I'm hopeful with a good diet exercise and meds i can turn it around. Still a chance for surgery though, but right before this i felt good, so I'm hopeful. Get that fluid off. At your size, you probably have 40 or 50 pounds. It's great tip look and feel better so quickly, but the diagnosis is scary. They took almost 40 of my dad 2 years ago, from 228 tip like 180s. Good luck. But do it!

What if you spent 3 years on allegedly the best medication on the market, went from 10% EF UP TO 41% EF in 3 years. I pretty much feel as terrible as the day I went to hospital I'm just off transplant. I eat well and also a 6'2" weigh 180 I pretty much cut salt out of my food tried to stay active got the boot from cardio rehad twice an pt once. I just want to go to work and get some form of quality of life back..I was told I have idiopathic HFpEf cardiomyopathy chronotropic incompetence, those released the key catchphrases I was told and I only feel about 1% better after my ICU stay there for a while in the hospital. I mean I'm still alive I'm thankful but I'm just not getting better. It's been 3 years and as a recently I am really struggling to not go down the slippery slope of being down and out with a case of the why me

@@jilllahbabi4414 my advice is to keep trying. I know it's not easy. I was actually in the hospital last week and just got out. I did it to myself over doing it helping a friend who just lost her husband from ALS I couldn't stop myself from helping her. Also I found that when I constantly do internet research on the topic I get very down and out. So I came up with a plan, I only give myself 6 hours maybe 1 day to feel sorry for myself than it's 1 foot in front of the other hold my head up and keep trying to move forward. It's not always easy. I'm so grateful for my family and friends they are the ones helping me the most. Surround yourself with the right people and don't torture yourself with endless web searches that's the part I struggled with in the beginning. The one thing I do know is you can't just give up.

Don't worry about life expectancy. Get the book by the cardiologist Dr. Stephen Sinatra, metabolic cardiology. Take 200 mg CoQ10 (Nature Made brand has full potency) three times a day after breakfast, lunch and dinner; 1 gram L-Carnitine 3 times a day, 5 grams D-ribose 3 times a day, and Magnesium 400-600 mg per day.
