I wouldn’t like to slip any of those watches under my shirt, I would be to keen to show them off to the world, especially your first watch, as looked brand new, must be worth a fortune. I have to classic not much know about brands from the 1930’s, and amazingly, they are almost as new, keeping their 1930’s appearance and time keeping.

You don't see many watches with the case of the first omega nowadays. It's a really cool case.

You can’t find any watch with those cases nowadays :D it’s really something special!

@@GoldammerVintageWatches It's surprising. With the advances in technology such as cnc and cad, producing different cases is now easier than it ever would have been. Perhaps something that a niche brand should look at. A pity that the dial has deteriorated so much

Great watches! I just picked up a steel pie pan Constellation from 1963 (cal 561). The crystal has a date magnifier (which I don't care for), but also the tiny Omega logo in the center, so I don't know if it's original. Do you think the crystal could be original?

Thanks man! Just look with a magnifying glass for the tiny omega logo on the center of the crystal. Is it missing the crystal has been replaced:)

@@GoldammerVintageWatches Sorry for the confusion.. as I said above, the tiny logo is there... I just don't know if the watch would have been originally sold with a crystal that had a date magnifier. I've only seen one other Constellation with a date magnifier, but I'm open to all the others having replacement crystals. haha Mine came from the original owners grandson, so I don't think it was ever replaced (it was VERY scratched up, but buffed up perfect). My research shows they started using the logo in the crystal around 1952.

To me a watch was a watch that told the time, having got so many, even one from the 1930’s.
