I agree. Also I his videos you can see he plays not just to win, algo to have fun. I know a lot of guys that are in legend and they only play top tier meta decks only to climb the ladder and they forget about fun

Did you watch master's league this past weekend, those guys were playing the same decks. One of the priest vs priest games both players passed until they each had 10 cards and had to play cars. SO BORING TO WATCH

What makes them really crazy is the new Innervate card. Even without the quest, it can be turn three 5/5 deal 5 damage

And for good reason. I stopped playing quest/spell damage shaman yesterday because, even though it took me to legend, I have a 30% winrate within legend. It taught me something valuable though- some classes bliz just doesn't intend you to play certain expansions.

I had a similar game against Druid with this deck. That felt good. It’s tough with Druid though because with their ramp, it’s unclear what turn you should start blocking their mana.

Closest I can think of is the Batrider that does 3 random damage and is a body with Battlecry. Lurker is a great card in this tho.

If you're going to play Shaman, I feel like it's an auto-include in any list for value but not necessarily essential. It's kind of essential for this type of deck though, where you are relying upon discovering your spells. If I were to replace her I'd probably go with Cobalt Spellkin for the extra 1 cost spells.

Lurker is not required. Its *really* good for this deck because its a good minion to clear with/without the hero power along with good offensive stats. You could have a board clear spell in replacement.

Yes for pure value yes, but it provided a more reliable lethal due to the tempo and it made the board harder to clear for the warrior, because at that point in the game kibler was planning to double cumulus next turn. A problem with The Lurker Below is that people focus too much on the potential value and don't value the tempo it can create because a 6/5 is still a decently big body.

it gets an extra body on the board to help ensure there's a source to remove the bulwark, and removes a body that could win a brawl. You need to ask yourself if you're trying to get maximum value from something, or want to actually end the game. The longer this stalls out the more chances for his opponent to stabilize and get out of burn range (like if that Dimensional Ripper HAD pulled Kargath Prime instead). The other question is, what else was he going to do that turn? He had no other play.

The troublemaker is always in between the 3/3s, so it doesn't clear them very well.

Paladin gets on the board quickly and can easily answer it at no cost

I have a similar issue. There's no simple answer. You have to understand why this is more than just a game in your life. Do you use it to deal with your anxiety, to avoid doing something else, to have a better self esteem ? Then you need to find something else to fill that part, just like any addiction really
