BeardedDanishViking I care when he calls his viewers stupid for pointing out valid plays like in the first game against the Dark Iron Arena when the taunt could have protected him from Gruul and he could kill everything else off, live a turn, drop deathwing and get a 2 drop from the shredder. But instead of saying "oh yes, good point chat" he just said "oh you're really helpful, you are terrible at this game", it sucks his ego has got so big.

Really, I don't think I could have had a better unstable portal challenge then I got. On turn two the guy played Millhouse. So on my turn I got to play five free unstable portals, which one of them gave me a Coldlight Oracle, so I played that for free to get two more unstable portals that I played for free. So it was a very easy win with barely a challenge. I agree with TB, there should be an unstable portal challenge mode PvP.

Sonic Doctor My first portal gave me... Sorcerer's apprentice. Every following portal was 1 mana. For the whole game.Your run was probably better than mine though... 6-7 free portals? wow. There are just so many ways you can get lucky portals. Even without the luck, a lot of the time you will get great deals due to the 2 mana -3 cost effect. I'm guessing people very rarely lose that challenge... only if you keep portalling out 1-2 cost minions.

For the first, I used a deck called Huge. I took a bunch of really powerful minions. That's it. The second, I did midrange Mech-Mage. The third, I actually had to use face hunter.

Ryan Lam Right. Priest uses Thoughtsteal, gets the Mage's Flame Leviathan, and then the Rogue uses Gang Up. Seems legit.

The way I beat this, if I recall, was Stampeding Kodo+Core Hound. Stampeding Kodo gave Core Hound charge. I had already rushed him down.

Adam Sherman I know which card you mean, but its called Tundra Rhino. Stamping Kodo is the thing that destroys a random 2 attack or less minion on the board. :D

I beat the second fight with my U mad? (rage warrior, lots of bezerkers and ogres) and beat my third fight with my personal take on the heal to death deck, only my first fight was a deck fillled with 6-10 mana creatures.

When I did the mage class challenge the first card I got off Unstable Portal was Deathwing. Second card was The Beast. I started wondering then if it was rigged to only give legendaries but then I finally got something that was not a legendary.

Richard Isaak My first one was Sorcerer's Apprentice... I was playing mage (which normally has it) and the portal was basically a wash (2 mana for a refunded 2 drop), so I didn't think anything of it. A few turns later, I realized "wait a minute... that was a RANDOM card and is GREAT in this deck!"

While I did enjoy it I can totally see why TB took this down. He has way higher standards than most people who record gameplay stuff and while its structured enough commentary for me (and I suspect a lot of others), I guess its not for him Good games though

He tweeted that it wasn't up to his standards. Probably because he did it during a live stream and was interacting with the chat a bit. It's a shame because he said he would focus on doing gimick decks and would not be doing the rest of the Blackrock adventure. :(

TB is so mean to his spectators even when their advice is correct and he is in fact the one who is not playing well (such as conceding against grul: kill off board except gruul, gruul hits 1/1 taunt, TB lives.)

Really is kind of a pain having to wait a few days for this KZfaq to turn up the archives when I could just as easily going straight to his thing as soon as he's done streaming it.

bootshausk39 Yes. It's still fairly easy to make a deck aimed at defeating the bosses on Normal, even with just Basic set cards. Like TB said, one of the easiest options is just making a Warlock 'zoo' deck which can be made in many ways and doesn't require a Legendary.

domeplsffs only goblins dwarves and gnomes so the card must in the picture be one of those therefore the only spell I have is the shield one for priest because It has a gnome on the picture

Marnis N3CR050LD13R My route was first two with Unstable Portal Mage and last with Creatures Randuin. And then with a replay I cleared all three with Buff Shaman. Fun. I do like that this first wing has fair challenges that you do have to think about when picking a deck, but past that there's still a lot of fun choices. At least in Normal.
