I actually beat a C'Thun warrior with a deck like that. He got pretty unlucky with his draws admittedly, but I did beat him.

Been playing that since it was possible(mentioned it plenty of tmes too), it works well, but glad to see others learning it as well. Shame i'm not a famous youtuber, 'cause then it would be named after me :p

no, with a deck like this the only way you win is by absolutely crushing you oponents hp, spending 2 mana and 2 hp to draw a 1 mana card isnr good enough as for the first 3 turns you can use all your mana anyways and if you dont kill your oponent in 4-5 turns you would most likely lose anyway, hitting for 2-6 damage with hunters heropower is worth more than warlock hero power

Maybe you're right but Flame imp, voidwalker and possessed villager (and maybe blood imp) are really good for early aggro

+Teal Zoolock is actually based around this idea and is currently a top tier deck. It only has about half the deck as 1-cost tho. The idea is that you can't lose even to your opponent big drops if you get in the board early and never lose your minions because there are just so many of them for the opponent to kill. The warlock hero power can be used freely because as long as you are putting minions down, your opponent will be heavily punished by going face.

I do it for the quest to play 30 minions of 2 cost and lower, and trust me when I say that it's crap and I only use it for quick completion of the quest. :P My Druid version of the play 20 minions of 5 cost or higher does work quite well though, with all the mana boosts, Thaurissan and Avina. :)

He probably could also have done it by sacrificing the Initiate to (hopefully) buff his Dragonhawk instead of hitting for 1 each turn, as well as taking advantage of the Brave Archer's inspire effect. The latter was definitely sabotaged by the Paladin hero power that kept filling his board.

OonaKonna Yep! To summarize both of our points, Crendor sabotaged himself when he switched to the Paladin hero power! I am surprised that the deck did as well as it did, but Crendor had a good point when he brought up the fact that he's playing rank 23-24 people, lol. Which you can easily tell by some of the things his opponents did.

edwin van houte It's kind of a spend health to keep up on the board situation. If you loose on the board you can't do shit as hunter. Sure the hero power does 2dmg per turn but it's not like your a face hunter with kill comands and a ton of charge minions to push for lethal. Also you wouldn't have any 1/1 minions in your deck unless it has some nice flavour text like the argent squire or possessed villager.

OonaKonna i mean i have a zoo deck but i typically play control, by playing a deck of all 1 mana minions i can knock out the play minions quest in 2 sometimes 3 games

You can actually play 2 mana minions for that quest. Novice Engineer and Loot Hoarder do wonders to your ability to draw more small minions to play.

yeah i know you can play 2 mana minions but as a warlock all 1 cost curves perfectly until like turn 6

the deck is nothing but one drops, theres no way a game will last until turn 10, and if it does he'll be so far behind that n'zoth summoning a bunch of 1/1's isnt going to do much

theres also the fact that nzoth is a fucking 10 drop in an exclusively 1 mana card deck

Also differs in being a spell, which can make a difference (works great with Lock and Load, for instance)

and it can trigger counterspell, and in candyland wild pyromancer for control hunter

I guess an extra advantage of elven archer would be it can target minions like Fairie Dragon, so a few more situations for it. Thought I think On the Hunt still better overall.

Sadly one of the only ways to play now. With the C'thun nonsense you need to kill before 10 mana now cause thats just an I win button. The C'thun mechanic isnt just an over powered card it even more so influenced people to play more aggro decks... exactly what this game didnt need.

Tigerre Lell'shoran Lost as in lost AFTER playing C'thun ?. Im sure its possible , I dont like hunter so I dont have hunters mark. Mind control ive done a few times but the battlecry alone screws you a lot of the time. Its hearthstone yes if the stars align you can still lose but im sure the statistics on C'thun decks are after C'thun is played said person goes on to win the vast majority of the time. Im not really saying C'thun decks are over powered, they are verses slow decks where C'thun has a chance to be played. The deck im running now ruins C'thun decks cause there usually dead before turn 10 it was designed for that in mind cause thats all I was running into was cookie cutter C'thun crap it was getting boring Im saying the C'thun mechanic and C'thun decks even more so promote people to play aggro decks to get the sub turn 10 kill which overall I think promotes just stale uncreative game play. Though I am quite fond of my deck I run now because Its fairly unique,

It's a 1 mana "find a specific card in your specific situation." Using it just to use it, might be bad because you may discard huntera mark or other good 1 drops. You usually wait, until you find a situation where you REALLY need 1 specific card.

To be fair, 1 and 2 cost cards are way undercosted so winning makes sense. It's why zoo works q.q

Yeah if he had killed off a minion or 2 (the initiate has to be one of them) he could have used brave archer to deal 2 damage each turn and he only had to deal 4 damage.

Erik Holtrop not even, at 12:25 all he had to do was suicide the initiate into the beserker then every minion would gain 1 attack. With every minion on the board, including windfury its 12 damage and with the extra board space he empties his hand and press the hero power for an extra two damage. He was like 3 over lethal

You're confusing the initiate with Spawn of N'zoth. The initiate only buffs one friendly random minion by +1,+1 when it dies. So the play he made was the arguably the best play he could've made against a priest.
