A minion gets unfrozen at the end of your turn when it didn't do damage that turn. Panther didn't do damage but Yogg did through his battlecry.

Kripp, I made this deck and I am at 100% winrate right now. I had doubts about yogg after crafting it. Your video made him totally worth it. It's just spectacular when I am almost dead, and then Yogg casts tree of life. Happened 3 times. Kudos!

The panther didnt stay frozen because in your turn it didnt attack, so at the end of your turn the frozen effect has been removed, however it seems some of yoggs spells counted as attacks, maybe like when you cast stealth on flameweaker and it immediately removes stealth because of the attack.

It determines it based on damage done, not attacking. The Yogg did damage as he was the source of the spells

29:40 Yogg gets his own turn during your turn so the panther is frozen at the end of his turn and then unfrozen at the end of your turn. Yogg is still frozen because he froze himself.

How freeze works in HS is that it checks for whether the minion has attacked this turn. If it has, it will stay frozen until the next turn where it's checked again.

The panther wasn't frozen because of the way freezing works in hearthstone. A minion will be frozen until they don't attack on the owner's turn. Because the panther was summoned and didn't attack, the frozen debuff was removed.

If this was MTG, the panther would not get frozen because the panther spell was played before the cone of cold; because of Yogg's ETB effect, all the spells are played at an instant speed, causing all the spells to be played on The Stack and special conditions such as "being frozen" can't be applied to creatures who aren't technically in play yet.

How ever, if we assume that to be the case the question lies as to how the panther still took damage. The only possible explanation I can think of is rooted in the seven minion rule. As in Hearth Stone one can only have a total of seven minions on the board at a time. Based on this I believe the game applies place markers on the minions and the slots they could go into (1-7) and so when the spells are randomly generated before any are played the slot is marked with the corresponding minion, to prevent filling the board with too many dudes. Based on this, damage may be designated by place number, instead of the minion it's self. For example, if you fireball a heal bot who is on the left most side of the board, damage is dealt to the minion in slot one. Knowing this the simple act of damage distribution was done to slot two when the spells were randomly decided, before the panther was even played and so the end result said that the minion in slot two had one less health, causing the panther to take a damage.

I wish that he deck tracker would have a visual indicator for N'Zoth and Yogg, as they do with C'Thun. The UI should show a list of card that a N'Zoth in the deck that you have selected will summon based on the death rattle cards you have played. As well as having a spell counter for Yogg if it happens to be included in the deck you have selected. These will help for players that would like to somewhat control the effect of their old gods.

6:54 Missed BM here. He already seized 5 damage in his hands, but he selfishly healed himself. He could have healed the opponent, making the opponent's HP 4, while still having him inside the valid range of lethal and firmly boasting that Malfurion is the boss inside the inn.

This deck is very fun, only change I made was I replaced the Twilight Elder with Brann Bronzebeard. It fills some of the same role (helping to get cthun to 10) while also synergizing well with cthun's apprentice, veklor, klaxi, cthun, azure drake, and hilariously with Yogg.

Druid seems pretty geared towards these overall well curved, but strong push late decks. Of all the classes since Standard hit, they seem to be the most balanced...good with bad in that.
