Well, actually your opponent didn't get your C'Thun. If this Old God appears at least once in player's hand or deck, it shines over purple tentacles left on the board like, for example, at 1:30. It was just some weird type of priest, probably control one, which stole your Hooded Acolyte. The info about C'Thun buffing in game history just shows, how big could C'Thun be. Check it, for example, when you will play some type of tempo-secret mage (ofc no C'Thun in deck) with Cult Sorcerers. Cast any spell with Sorcerers on the board, then check game history. OR Play a non-C'Thun deck with C'Thun buffers and Twin Emperor Veklor. Play minions equal to +4/+4 buff, then play Emperor He will guaranteely summon his brother.

He does't have C'thun since it did not show up when he played C'thun's Chosen.

His opponent did not steal C'thun, if he had stolen one the animationof C'thun buff should have been played. The display at the status bar only is showed dor cards wich interact with C'thun (You can buff C'thun to 10 attack and make a Twin emperor Vek'lor summon his copy without having a C'thun)

He mistakenly thought his opponent got a C'thun because he saw the pop up appear when he healed, but he didn't realize the popup was from his own minion, as opposed to the stolen card's triggered effect.

I really do not understand why people do not play C'Thun + Quest Warrior or C'Thun Rouge with just C'Thun and Blade of CThun. A major counter to C'Thun decks was Salvianus and Entomb, both which are gone from stander. I went from rank 22 to 11 with a C'Thun Quest Warrior deck, yes the low ranks of the ladder but what felt like 80% of the time I was facing T1s or T2 decks. Most of the time T1 and T2 decks are just 3% to 7% better than the next deck in line anyway and this % chances base on the class you are facing.

Looks like that C'Thun had 20/20 vision.

It was so painful to watch this. I have used only cthun priest for the whole week and seeing someone play it so badly and winning hurts me in unimaginable ways.

i'm sure you've realised but he didn't have a c'thun. c'thun buffs always show up in history, and if they do have a c'thun, the little c'thun animation will always pop up with a voice line (but only if they have c'thun). that animation didn't show up so they never had a c'thun :v
