To the viewers confused about why ETC doesn’t show in the deck list, that’s normal for this specific deck list. New cards always appear as a 2-cost “NOOO” card for a while until their data gets added to the list.

This is so cool, it let’s you include tech cards that might sometimes be a sad draw but with ETC you can just decide to never draw them

Pseudo-sideboard is a great addition, but I think the most interesting aspect is that it opens the door for even more concentrated discover effects in the future. Unless ETC is changed to pull from a set sideboard, and players are allowed to put a sideboard in every deck even if they don't naturally have access (addressing the example of "what if a player plays ETC without having created a band?"), then we could see future cards that have similar wording to ETC that each create their own sideboard. So one such card discovers from a set of 3, while ETC discovers from the "band." I think that would be really interesting, but may be too strong and increase consistency too much, akin to Eternal card game's Market.

ETC feels bonkers in Beast Hunter so far too, He's straight up won me "unwinnable" games already. I've been putting Serpent Bloom and Rustrot Viper in him. The deck has wanted Rustrot for Paladin since Lightforged Cariel dropped, but you can't run it because of the Pet Collector interaction. Bloom is a silly spell when you can pull it any time you need to take out a giant beater/blocker, it can just end games. For the last one, I went for Demolition Renovator first, for the DK match up; I think maybe a finisher like Aimed shot, Collateral damage or even Alexstraza might be better for matchups you need to close out before they turn the corner on you. There's even a chance you want one of the neutral boardwipe minions (Spammy or Street sweeper) for implock, since that's also a fairly bad matchup. Could even consider starfish vs decks that Freeze to stall your board. It's such a sick card!

I like that card. I've added 3 different deck counters into the band. Steamcleaner for the priests and scythe DH, theotar for druid and Rivendare for long games.

Lost to my last 3 bomb warlocks, seeing you counter bomb one was so satisfying.

ETC is a fun and interesting card. I’ve been running it in my shadow priest deck recently with Holy spells in ETC. Currently been running Light it burns, Lightbomb and shard, with them all being situational. Works great so far, but I might need to put Theotar in the band…

I suspect that at 15:39 Kibler missed lethal, but let me know if I'm wrong. Opponent's life total: 22 Damage on board: 4+4+4+2+2+1 = 17 Therefore, require 5 damage from hand. Scabbs' heropower effectively adds 2 to the total mana available. Press at start of turn. Total mana remaining: 10. Trade Psychic Conjuror into Pit Fiend. This sacrifices 1 damage, but activates Shadow Word: Undeath. Play Shadow Word: Undeath which with Scabbs' heropower costs 3 mana. Total mana remaining: 7. Trading Psychic Conjuror and Shadow Word: Undeath collectively add (4-1)=3 damage to the total. Damage total: 20. Therefore, require 2 more damage. Play Cathedral of Atonement for 3 mana. Total mana remaining: 4. Activate Cathedral of Atonement on any remaining minion, increasing its attack power by 2 and adding 2 to the damage total. 20+2 =22. All remaining minions attack face. Damage sufficient to kill opponent. If I am wrong, cast Potion Belt for even 1 deal 3 damage to kill the opponent. Fail, and trade Shard of the Naaru to find the other Cathedral of Atonement. Have insufficient mana to play it, but can play it next turn.

With this ETC, maybe we'll finally get a Fusion deck

Do you generate copies of the band or is it like scythe where u only get 1? I.e if i brann etc shadow step etc do i get no option on the 4th etc trigger

I love having maximum options when making a deck. Now at minimum band master still makes a deck 40 cards to play but also with a 4/4 body, but throw aside 4/4 body and you have 39 cards in deck + 1/3 to choose, becoming 40 cards but also 39 with an option of 3 so similar to 42 cards. Brann can make more cards playable, but is brann then taking away from a slot in deck? Eh it’s still more options than 40, while what can be played is still 40 cards

how does ETC work with Rommath? do the cards technically still start in your deck?
