Actually it's quite good in dragon hunter when you get it from that poisonous dragon, when vs a slow match you're going to run out of fuel. Emerys gives you the extra punch. It's just that it's very situational. Sometimes it'll be very slow and you're going to lose. That's why it's only good when you got it for free.

ElSpewtardo I think he was salty from the beginning when he played Doomsayer into an opponent who took Wild Growth off Zephyrus.

With the amount of toxic (I felt like) he did, I thought he would have quit right when Kibler gained back that sweet 21 health

I mean, he emoted amazing repeatedly after his Reno's random spells drew him three cards while he was already in fatigue and he also emoted well played at the end. Didn't seem salty to me.

I think it was a pretty serious misplay. With Brightwing, you’re likely to get more stats by buffing the random legendary rather buffing Brightwing. You can’t really justify the “Brightwing first play” unless you really need that tempo.

When he played brightwing after emeriss I thought to myself "that seems like the wrong order". felt very vindicated when the subsequent grom was off lethal

It was equally likely that he would have buffed a Thalnos by playing Brightwing first.

Another point, he could have risked playing the other dragon(brightwing) 8:57 before emeris and could have lethaled with grom 9:48, but who could have guessed

@@gabrielyamatoy.matodraw5570 I mean, that definitely would have been the correct play to play Brightwing before Emeriss-- doubling the stats of a random legendary is almost certainly going to be better than giving +3/+2 to Brightwing.

@@drunyon214 drunyon214 Kinda arguable, there's value in having stats on the board *right away*. Especially when your opponent has already used brawl and deathwing like Kibler had. Kibler had trouble dealing with that board

I don't know- I rather liked this opponent. It seems he had a sense of humour from the ending.

Consider the fact that Kibler has a KZfaq channel. By letting the opponent BM like that, the video would be all the more entertaining once he loses. (And if the opponent doesn't lose, no big deal, Kibler just goes onto the next game.)

I mean, that's sort of the reason to play a highlander deck. Both Zephrys and Alex are powerful and are the only cards in the deck that work under the singleton condition. I think what you don't like is that they're all control decks instead of being aggro/tempo decks. If you notice, control decks almost always go to fatigue if they don't die to an aggro deck turn 4/5 which is a result of constantly playing value cards and *controlling* the board state. Now if you like control and don't like highlander... I don't know what to tell ya, bud.

I disagree. I have been playing a lot of highlander, Galakrond Rogue lately. It has a lot of powerful tempo plays with lackeys and has late game power in Alexstrasa (and Shadowstep.) I like Highlander Rogue because it has Togwaggle, whose power level is close to that of the hero classes "highlander" legend. It is pretty good at switching from a tempo deck to a control deck, depending on matchup and draws.
