For those who say they don't have all the expensive minions to play in this tb, just get a rogue deck, fill it with double assassin blade, double oil, double deadly poison, some saps/vanish/assassinate fro creature removal, draw spells like shiv/fan of knives (also good against pally or living roots from druid), and all direct damage spell + sprint for card draw. Easy game.

Kripp, the hunter milled his other unleash the hounds, and had used all his direct damage spells already. You had it in the bag no matter what.

That first priest game was hilarious.

I definitely appreciated being able to use a bunch of the lesser legendaries like Troggzor.

I loved playing an eboladin deck that I can kill before or on turn 7 with this brawl using double muster and silverwind knight to buff the full board of 1-1s for quick kills. Cheap, easy deck to make tons of annoying pally secrets to prevent the board being cleared. :3

How is it that no one realizes Paladin is the best class in this brawl? Making dudes with Muster or Hero Power, buffing them with Kings, Seal of Champions, or Sword of Justice; and using secrets to keep them alive will guarantee you have a strong board on every turn in the game. Couple it with spells like Avenging Wrath, Holy Wrath, and Hammer of Light mean you always have burst and card draw to close the game. 25 wins and climbing for me.

Modified Oil Rogue (assassin blade, ravenhold assassin, cragg, vanish, sap etc.) 12 winstreak(usually before turn 9 or 8)

I ran with a Secret Mage. Double: mirror entity, duplicate, effigy, vaporize and ice block. All removal spells and only legendaries 7+. Just wrecked the house hahahaha

I played plenty of minions before 7 mana as I played spells that summon minions. I played a spell hunter that used some removal and a lot of direct damage through spells. Webspinners a plenty with ball of spiders too and there's 6 minions there. Explorers hat for boosting spiders. I enjoyed it this week.

What i found worked realy well is Shaman with cards like Bloodlust, Feral spirit, Rockbiter weapon and Windfury. Use your hero power as much as possible for obvious reasons. Many games you wont even get to turn 7.

I played a pretty successful paladin deck with sword of justice buffing up your hero power dudes + stormwind champion. Added to the fact that divine shield and buffs make you win most big minion vs big minion trades.

I haven't seen anyone mention my strategy, which was to play rogue. The only class with spell weapon destruction is rogue (sabotage), so nobody else can break an oiled up assassin's blade. Burgle and Beneath the Grounds can both potentially let you get an early / midgame minion on the board. One game a paladin tried to holy wrath my face and he drew the 0 mana ambush and it did 0 damage to my face. I didn't even know it worked like that, lol.

I played Druid during this brawl and I only lost one out of 12 brawls, which was to a Freeze Mage. I was using Raven Idol, and Power of the Wild to get out early minions, and it worked really nicely, combine with Poison Seeds, Mulch, and Naturalize, it's pretty much gg. At first I didn't like this brawl, but after I set up my Druid deck, after properly thinking about it, I actually enjoyed this brawl. :)

play trap hunter. I haven't lost with it. I usually kill people around turn 7. Priest, mage, druid, are never a problem. The idea is play eagle horn bow + traps and get a ton of damage. Then use burn on face if he gets to play any minions. It is so damn op, but no one is playing it for some reason.

Warrior with weapons, mortal strike, heroic strike, brawl if you have it, whirlwind + execute, grommash etc is an okay budget alternative. You can often win before your opponent even has 7 mana.

I've been almost untouchable with hunter this tavern brawl... maybe it's the people I'm playing against, but I just throw all my secrets out, end up getting a few bears that help, play animal companion. And by the time the other play can actually start playing minions I just break them down one by one with the traps, and insta kills. It's been pretty fun.

Pally works really well in this brawl also.

After completing quests Druid and Paladin, I decided to try a super gimmicky deck with all the Hunter secrets and no minions whatsoever. It actually works in this brawl!

Astral Communion/Ramp Druid is the way to go here. Wrecked everyone I faced easily; Raven Idol and Living Roots really shine in this brawl.

This Brawl very quickly turned into Arch-Thief Anduin...

palladin is quite nice. Repentance is amazing, and so is 'get down'. Muster, along with the buffing weapon is also pretty nice, and the buffs double up as damage source and removal drain, so your late game minions have a better chance of surviving. Also, because a lot of decks are pretty slow, divine favor is a great card and typically draws you 3 or 4 cards.

Im glad that Kripp stands up for the little F2P guy and at least recognizes that this brawl sucks for players who don't have nearly all the cards, but this is actually really common problem for brawls that have create your own deck. Often brawls have some cards that really shine that week and if you don't have them... well, too bad.

Am i the only one that thought this tavern brawl was just really lacking? Like, I just threw a half assed hunter deck together and got the win on day 1

I feel mirror entity is no big deal in comparison to muster for battle or feral spirit, as any class will be carrying a removal spell for cheap to remove their mirror entitied thing. plus weapons cant be removed without 5 or 2 drops, except by sabotage

My secret Paladin deck with 0 minions destroyed this brawl. It went 12-0. The MVP card was Muster. Honorable mention cards were Repentance and Eye for an Eye.

My first thought was Paladin (and I won my first and only game with the deck. Equality + Consecrate is as legendary as ever if not more so.) because it can win the early game with guys if they have no removal and just keep on rolling. I didn't really think games this week would ever really reach a point where minions were anything more than finishers or spell bait. Guess I was wrong.

Paladin worked great, a lot. You can get out LOTS of 1/1. Usually won by turn 4

I just went with summoning, weapons, and draw-damage spells and basically zerged my opponent down before the 7 mana point.

I played non-minion Paladin deck in this Brawl and the Priest has the really hard-time to counter that deck! :D It's really fun! :D

I put Majordomo in my deck and my opponent Priest summoned it with Mindgames. I won two turns ater :D

I was running Priest and only got truly wrecked by a Paladin and a Druid who ran really aggressively with summon cards and no actual minions. lol

I had pretty good luck with Shaman, windfury really pumped up that damage with the big guys.....

Sword of Justice Muster for Battle is a nice combination. Early minions played through spells. Hero power helps.

Don't forget that there are also paladins spamming the board with Silver Hand recruits.

After 9:45, Rend kills Rend and then 'Render' comes online in bottom left.

i win 10 games in a row with a face weapon Warrior deck with slams, executes, bashes, Dr. 7 and 2 pair of Molten giants. What also works is Druid with the ability to have minions via spells early.

I couldn't win because the only high cost minions I had were the basic cards and deathwing. Got a pack tho cuz the guy conceded.

That last game was brilliant that's how playing against a hunter should be like not just face is the place.

as a paladin i have only lost 1 of 14 games. buffing recruits and using avenge with a muster can get you a win very early on.

Straight up druid with innervate+wild growth and all the 7+ mana cards you have, and you'll win a good rolls regardless. It's pretty hard to lose when you get a wild growth and innervate by 7 mana, and you can get your pack.

I made a combo druid with the 1 mana discover spell and spells that summoned minions and won 5 in a row. Definitely could do it on a somewhat F2P account

Played Paladin like 6 or 7 games and kinda always won. Druid was the hardest to win against, but all the 1/1, buffs and other spells made it pretty easy to win before the enemy could get out any of his 7+ Minions.

at the start i had a lot of good paladin runs because with heropower+ muster for battle your opponent is at about 14 health (unless its a mage) when he can play his first 7 mana minion

I did a warrior weapon deck with charge moltens and mortal/heroic strike. You can beat down people pretty fast!

hunter seems to work very well with nearly just spells and weaps.

First time I've ever seen a hunter in fatigue.

My friend who's new to HS wanted my help to build a deck, and well, the only deck he could build was a spell mage.

I got Nozdormu in my brawl pack so i thought it would be fun just to throw it in the deck. It got Mindgames and i guess my opponent couldn't handle it and just wasn't able to play anything before time ran out. It was the best brawl game i ever played.

Icehowl was bae in this brawl. I played priest with Kel, and won every time. One game, I managed to get three kels from Resurrect, Mind Control, and Thoughtsteel. xD

I found Paladin and Shaman were both very strong, they could get out minions early via their hero power and a few of their spells like Muster and Spirit Wolves and just put so much pressure on before turn 7 that closing the game was easy. Only lost 1 game out of 10 with Shaman

I found the ravenholdt assassin to be a pretty decent minion for this one, 7/5 with stealth So it can't be removed right away and you can use it to counter your opponents dr boom or whatever seven drop he throws down The clockwork giant did a lot of work for me as well!

I was kind of sad I didn't get to see that elusive hunter deck with the domo
