+GhostDreamer I don't think it needs a strict nerf, it takes a lot of preparation and getting to turn 10 to use, keep a hard removal around for it and all it does is cast a large magic missile for 10 mana. Combo with Bran would be crazy but requires keeping him alive or getting two discounts from the ol' Emperor.

A decent balance could be to start Cthun as a 1/1. Its way too easy right now to get it to 10 attack, thus cards with the "If Cthun has 10+ attack" condition are above curve, like the emperor twin or that +10 armor warrior creature

+massivepileup ye, I played my battlecry shaman with evolve, opponent played c'thun, only like 2 minions died of the 6, most were around 1-2 health. i played evolve and got a board of full health stronger minions. for only 1 mana...evolve is really strong

I think c'thun should be nerfed by not allowing it to kill hero.

xKibaFTWx I don't know, I have 100% win rate against C'thun decks with my priest for example, and C'thun is pretty tricky to play properly. There actually is decent ammount of decission making. It is nothing like secret-paly for example. IF you don't otk with C'thun, more often than not, you will lose. It is surprisingly hard with the big minions on board you see now.

TB had it right, people are playing C'thun decks because there is no decision making. since the c'thun minions are above average so that they arent vanilla it makes for ridiculously strong decks. Once C'thun hits the board and has over 15 attack the game is pretty much over from that point. not the other way around like you said. Most, if not all games have run their course before turn 10 since everyone was so used to such a fast meta and it hasnt shifted over just yet, most if not all people are out of most if not all removal to deal with something like that since they had to deal with things 9 turns before. And it doesn't help when some of the things they have to deal with are the Druid class C'thun cards which are amazingly above average, plus the legendary that goes with C'thun. C'thun is an IMMENSELY powerful card, and no one cares if you have a 100% win rate since 1. you proabably don't and 2. you are playing against people who arent good and are mindlessly throwing things out. I despise people like you who are like "I don't have a problem with it hurr durr just cause my win rate is higher than everyone elses they shouldnt be having problems either durrr durrr durr." Your argument became instantly invalid the minute you tried to justify your "win rate" for everyone else. This is the first Arechtypal deck we have had, and it makes sense people don't know how to feel. I came from a Vanguard and Yugioh background. This will be a Meta deck and a difficult one to fight at that. There is virtually no "good" way to play around it considering C'thun can get buffs even if it doesnt exist in your deck yet (IE, discovering him, he will gain all buffs you played in the game) How you gonna play around a card like that? TL;DR, you are wrong, C'thun and his minions are ridiculously good. Get better.

+SapSapirot the thing that TB and some other people don't understand is that you have to draw C'thun to use it. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but it can be. I played against Amaz's C'Thun Druid yesterday as a paladin. He played everything, even managed to get out his Fandral and get some value out of it before I removed it. He drew cards with both wrath's and nourish, and his C'thun was something like 24/24. But he didn't draw it. It's not like they can't be beaten.

This means that any kind of decent tempo deck, or aggro deck is going to shit on you. The best C'Thun decks are probably not going to see a C'Thun much bigger than 12/12 I think.

+Matt Clarke yeah I have a 67% win rate with Yogg-Saron tempo Mage and work out quite well against C'Thun decks on average. Aggro is the worst, you will likely die before you can be able to play C'Thun on turn 9/10. Heck even Zoolock shits all over C'Thun.

waking00one the good decks use c'thun as a big powerfull 10 drop. On the level of 12/12 with a powerfull effect. Put more c'thun cards in your deck and it tends to get too slow.

That takes what I would consider a lot of setup or is just impractical. Two thaurissan ticks with both cards in your hard or three with one or the other. Or you could shadowstep but that requires you to have already played C'Thun which means you've probably already won or will the next turn with or without Brann.

With a C'thun deck you build up a really powerful 10 cost minion that can dish out a boat load of damage with its battlecry, all of them upsides basically. Meanwhile Yogg runs the gambit of killing himself, killing your minions, healing your enemies minions, buffing your enemies minions, hitting you, and so forth. Seems like a lot of downsides compared to C'thun.

+rDOLLf C'Thun decks are midrange because he is buffed by low and mid cost minions. in control decks you usually stall out the game with spells and weapons then play big minions. C'Thun decks run little spells and a lot of differently cost minions making it midrange. similar to midrange paladins style except with a 1 turn kill.

wilson sorensen Except it's not a 1 turn kill. You buff C'thun. I mostly have him not in my hand until turn 15 or so, and he is most likely in the range of 15 to 25 hp and attack... Plus you can easily silence him when he's out. So whilst you may need a lot of sustain to out-sustain him, you can still do it. A warrior, especially a control warriour, is easily capable of killing all those C'Thun minions and then silencing him in one turn, so he's just a 10 mana 6/6 with a max 25 damage battlecry. Whilst this is still very powerful, it is no more powerful than the broken effect of NozDormu is... So... Well, if the Meta settles, as they said in the video, I guess many decks will counter C'Thun. And I am pretty sure there will be cards like "lower your enemy C'thuns damage by x" or something like that soon... =/
