Unless you are Artosis himself I do not see a reason to attack me like that... Secondly I am referring to his game with Kripp at which he was majorly outplayed and won by topdecking... He is a great player but he has a big amount of luck with his draws which is highly annoying sometimes to watch... moron...

KappaHakka Well I respect both players but I must say Artosis won both opponents by luck. This game was pure pain to watch, Trump had the worst luck on starting hand and even the immediate after turns. He started drawing the early/medium game cards only at the end and not even one swipe. Artosis started with 2 knife juglers, coin and imp master. Should I say more?!

Gabriel just covered me... He did won by luck, he is an amazing player, better than I could ever be maybe, but he did won by luck. He had great draws while Trump was struggling for something to play and when he got outplayed he topdecked his victory...

It was the time when rush paladin was op that's pretty much it...no skill involved. Did you see something great from artosis in this video? charge+charge+blessing of kings+avenging wrath...a lot of difficult choices isn't it?

Because Trump likes to prioritize keeping creatures on the board instead of keeping health high, which is a pretty dangerous idea when he doesn't run Taunt.

Nevar It's not necessarily a bad idea, even if you don't run taunt sometimes it's better to have a bigger creature than just a meat wall meant for taking dmg since dmg potential is sometimes better than taunt

wikidude445 True. Didn't say it was bad, just dangerous, as in risky. Also, since he has a reputation for not running taunt, Artosis was able to take advantage.

Trump had a horrible starting hand while Artosis had a great one. That and some lucky draws is enough to decide a game. No skill difference needed.

This game's design is so shitty. Being second means having the edge of the game 70% of the times. I think the draw 1 more or drawing the same cards + coin is more than enough. BOTH OF THEM? Yeah, gg

actually winrate of fist players are over 50%. If some classes apper to be more suitable for going second - this doesn't change whole picture.

That would be true if the actual statistics existed. Going first gives a a slightly larger chance of winning, as it would in a game like Chess. In actuality, a card and an extra card are given because of how strong the first play can be. Attacking first gives you control of the tempo of the game. Charging for the first few turns isn't very easy to do, which means that the first player can actively control the board of the second player. An extra mana boost and card can help neutralize that.
