Kibler enjoys the game too much. Gets wrapped up in the play and figuring out the best way to maintain board position and forgets to see if he can just finish off his opponent. There are plenty of times that he has lethal, vocally acknowledges lethal, and then chooses to play to non-lethal just because it will be more fun.

I guess that’s more like a ‘win more’ card or situation. . . Yeah, he uses the term. I might say you don’t have ‘win enough’. You have Pharos and few big spells. It’s tough out there, the margin for victory is thin.

Just a general question, wouldnt it be better to go for a zentimo+frog play whenever you play VS druid to fuck up their witching hour? I'm just an average player so maybe kiblers tempo play was better than that but I'm still curious

Bandersnatch should be easy to replace, it's just a decent 5-drop with no real synergy with anything else in the deck. Fist comes the adventure so you're guaranteed to get it, sounds like you're just about ready.

I wouldn't really recommend crafting Zentimo if you don't plan on playing wild, since he's rotating in less than 2 months now. That said, even though I don't see a problem with playing Hagatha, Zentimo is a much more flexible card, you can combo him with Earth Shock, Hex (triple Hex is perfect against ress priests) Lightning Breath (like Kibler did in the video) and quite a few other spells. He's better than Hagatha for sure, especially because a 7 mana 5/5 that does nothing the turn it's played is pretty weak, but I don't see a problem with changing only one card so go for it, the deck seems pretty fun to play overall.

He meant right away, he was just looking for something to dump immediately to help set up for Phaoris the next turn. You could argue that saving the owl anyway is useful, but it's a very passive line that just allows you to prevent a 6/1 from spawning later rather than doing anything proactive (including dealing with the 6/8 that would still be in play, which we can see in hindsight he actually wouldn't have been able to do with just the 3/4).

I’m sad that all good control shaman decks these days seem to require Electra and Zentimo, neither of which I have, and both of which rotate next set, so I don’t want to craft them.

This Druid played so badly. Didn’t play Breath of Dreams on 2. Huge misplay. Also didn’t play Embiggen turn 1.

Well no offence Brian but that wasnt against embigen druid really.. He played frieze second last turn and embigen last turn of the game. You played against a dragon druid without him even playing Yasera. I wanna see you stomp a real embigen its the most satisfying.

Trash game this is now how it would play out most of the time you got extremely lucky he didnt have breath of dreams and embiggen at all or you would have totally lost this game

Nay it ain't luck. It's RNG. And Kibler has alot of RNG on his side.
