Ty is my favorite character, with Caleb in a very close 2nd place. As Caleb matured on screen, he became more and more handsome. That smile is the best! But Graham Wardle had my heart when Ty showed such sensitivity and courage when he had to protect the more vulnerable people and animals in his life. He wouldn't let anyone hurt Amy, no matter what the circumstances were. That's why I crushed on him, though I am old enough to be his grandmother.

Most difficult to choose only one favorite. This series is perfectly cast. The casting director deserves an award🏆. No one could be more perfect playing Jack than Shaun Johnston. Chris Potter gives the often-annoying but well-intentioned Tim just the right balance between viewers wanting to strangle him vs. laughing at his expense. He’s perfect in the role. But who could choose between Graham Wardle and Amber Marshall as your “favorite? Their relationship is the foundation-the glue holding everything together. Now with Ty’s absence it’s as if “Heartland” has a hole in its heart. The love and respect “Ty and Amy” had for each other held the family dynamic of the Fleming-Bartlett clan together. They were the glue that made the series a treasure. It’s almost painful to watch the show with Ty and Amy no longer side by side. Real life inevitably brings tragedy into our lives, so we should thank “Heartland’s” writers for the words Grandpa Jack says to Amy about how she’s going to cope with losing Ty and continue to live her life. “Heartland” is by far the best series I’ve ever watched. It’s left its handprints on my soul.❤️

Love love TY and Amy when TY died it was the weirdest scene seems like it was just a fast pull and the writers got confused.. however they way how it played out they could still have him appear back in the show.. .. they didn’t even let his family say a proper goodbye to him .. would love to see Jack and Ty connected their love and respect as a father son to each other… Heartland is not the same my husband bearly wanted to watch it with me anymore. We completely quit Heartland when Ty "died." The show lost its glue when he opted to leave. Please bring him back! I am a writer: use some realistic intrigue and reintroduce Ty as having been 'away in hiding' from unsavory creeps out to get him because he can identify them from a yet unsolved kidnapping/murder. Disguise him so well that the family (even the audience!) can't recognize him. But hìs pursuers have to be tagged and eliminated before Ty can assume his old identity again. Just my 2 cents. Although I like everybody, Jack is the backbone of Heartland & it wouldn't be Heartland without him. His character looks like a Wyatt Earp. His deputies are Tim, Caleb & Ty. Nobody messes with Heartland & gets away with it. About eldest granddaughter Lou- I noticed that she has American actress Diane Keatons eyes & voice.

Love the young lives of amy and ty. Can't watch when ty died. I watch the reruns of 1 - 10. No reason to watch after ty died ; nothing interests me. New season does not have any reason to watch. Sorry.

Ty and Amy by far are my favorites. The love between them is so deep and fulfilling. Caleb is too cute. Love Lou but she's too wired all the time. Jack is a sweetheart and his way of reasoning is perfect. Love Tim but he needs to back off. Mallory needs to do what she's told once in a while. But getting really tired of Georgie...(just sayin').

I love Amy and Lou as sisters although they are whiny and have to have their way. I wish l had a Jack in my life growing up and a Ty when l was young. They are so insightful.

The show is about family life. What life throws at you. It wasn't just about Amy and ty. It's about people coping with what life throws at you. It's also about saving animals training them. The way different people treat them. Ty died life goes on. I didn't like the way Amy treated ty. Or how Lou treats men. You could say this show is about woman controlling men. Also insecure about leaving home.
