Quill's play in the Spanish Civil War was very impressive. Taking on two players and unfamiliar with the speed of the game and he came out with a win.

I disagree, I didn't like the way he balled up his divisions rather than spread them out. However, opting to destroy National Spains divisions rather than facing Daniel directly was a brilliant idea.

Your division were overrun in Spain because you told them to retreat into enemy territory, which he occupied. Your units were being attacked in the province, so when you told them to move into enemy territory, it was classified as a retreat order instead of an attack order. This is fine as long as there are no enemy units in the province you order them to move to. However, if an enemy unit is in that province already, or can move into that province before your units arrive, then they will be automatically destroyed.

This is a really great seriea. So much more rewarding with PvP as it's an actually struggle. I also think that the pace is an advantage, much more action packed.

+Revenge woh I had a damn great ironman Nepal game as my first time playing. Conquered all of Asia, India and the middle east by 1942 as the Himilayan empire followed by Nepalese people's front I believe.

You need to ask the Allies (the USA more precisely) for lend lease support, you need to mobilise your manpower ASAP since you are the only power that can exhaust the Germans/Italians. Without you grinding down the Germans, the Allies will not be able to make a landing.

What he needs to do is make a pack with axis make sure your troops are not found so Germany will think the troops are on the east then just decker war and rush

Additionally you may want to request volunteers (if possible) from both the US and UK after Germany attacks, if the Allied players themselves are not planning on declaring war for some time.

Why did he accept the "Treaty with the USSR" from Germany when he was already aware that the Axis was really strong? He should have guaranteed the independence of the French Commune, if he got into a war at that point then he would have forced the Axis to fight on 2 fronts... That is at least something... Of course it all went belly up when he started the Great Purge, you can't do the Great Purge in multiplayer, it sucks, but if players see you are doing the Great Purge then they know you are completely useless for the next 3 or so years...

you can do purge first and then rush the branch that removes that debuff, it takes like 210 days

It takes 210 days to do the purge, then another 210 or more to remove the debuff? That is more then a year, in the mean time Germany and Italy conquered France and Poland and you can't oppose them because of the debuff... The Purge can't be done in multiplayer against competent opponents...

I rember playing as Nationlist Ireland with Poland and a Facist USA and many others in my alliance. And seeing Soviet Union do that I decided to strike from Serbia as the Axis powers had already fallen, with paratroopers and some nukes being dropped they fell in around 3 months. Also, my navy fucking them in the ocean war. I could just pump out equipment as I had control over most of the world.

Try giving your armies shorter targets, like move up one or two rows of privinces from your front line and just queue up 10 offensive lines, each deeper into the enemy country. The AI will be much better at completing small tasks than just running to the other side of the country, so you don't have to micro manage as much.

Quill18 you did not CHECK your production and trade for beginig !!! REALY??! 1) Improve your infrantry this is your best power!!! 2) Protect Romania's oil, this will slow Germany 3) Make 2 Great Defence Lines with inf and artilery + antitanks guns + add some bunkers

You need to bump production up, secure rubber and possibly talk with your allies about trading. It may be viable to secure certain resources for allies to give/trade to them. You need to coordinate who lacks what resource. If you don't coordinate resources well you're gonna lose. And that's just one of important aspects of game.

Quill you should get your tanks researching since you have the molotov ribbentrop pact going. Germany will most likely be producing tons of tanks to punch through your lines and you could also think about making some forts even though it might not be the most efficient use of your factories. Keep it up man, you can win this!!

A Turkish flip the the Comintern is what i usually aim for when playing the ussr, Turkey has 50 or so divisions by 39-1940 and makes the push to grease very easy. Having repulbican spain is nice to if you have control of the Mediterranean sea because that opens up the possibility of a push into a German France early, thus having land right across from the uk

one thing i like about watching LPs is this game really uses up the processor, and i am on a mac so naturally my processor and graphics card arent so good, so i have all the settings at minimum so i can use higher speeds when playing, but when i watch LP i can see the units and stuff, thats all i really miss out on, that and the various texture glitches, and when zoomed out a lot cant really read some country names

That over run I think is a bug I have that happen to me all the time, I just start to transition provinces and the province I am in gets taken while in transit and I am not attacking it says I am overrun. Very annoying

It's not anything bad With multiplayer, Quill, but the speed of it chosen here. :) To enjoy MP I prefer slower speed as well.

Quill, what I did as the Soviets, I never purged, started to justify on Poland and Germany as soon as I got the political power, and then I used all my units to invade Poland and Germany in 1937. I don't think Daniel could deal with a super early war.

I once played as Sweden, became fascist, invaded the Netherlands, Finland and Norway, then ninja paratrooper into France, took France incredibly quickly, they capitulated to be and I became the dominant power in Europe

Quill sorry for distracting you! BTW its "eliteslayer", essentially had to pick that username as all other variations are usually taken. Have you considered paratroopers ? When I have played soviets previously I found the paras very strong. I had to double the unit size and I did give them all the supports (artillery, mp, recon and engineers). But I was thinking could you potentially take berlin via paratroopers. you just need to get in range via Denmark. You also need loads of planes for air superiority but in theory Germany has his planes tied up with the allies!

I think, in regard to supporting coups of a different ideology, it's pretty historically accurate (WWI German Empire supporting Lennin, US support of anit-democratic coups, etc.). As far as game balance, I'm not sure. But i think maybe an overall nerd of some sort would be better than limiting it to only your own ideology.

I hope you can teach me how to use U.S.S.R. quill because the last game I played as them ended in 1939 when I lost 70 divisions when trying to take the land the strait of Istanbul... I tried attacking from the city over the water but kept failing and decided to retreat and the enemy 'overran' me, never saw it before but what I know is over 600,000 Soviets vanished and I never went back to it xD

Trebah I can't remember haha but probably then because it was kinda crazy how bad it was xD I shall remember to wait for that officers' debuff to go before attacking next time! Been playing The Great War mod recently and it's looking really good, I'd recommend it if you haven't tried it already. Thanks for answering!

Cameron Hargreaves you can do purge first and then rush down the focus which removes penalties from purge (rehalibited military/nkvd,military reorganization/nkvd and lessons of war i think) the last one is available when you have or had war with someone after the purge done
