@@chevaldarsaut3770 Ben doesn't really come back in the webtoon after this either. He's only mentioned, and he doesn't get any redemption arc like so many fans want. Harry actually sort of gets some redemption. But maybe Alice will change a few things around. I feel like they'd want to include Bash in future too, because everybody loves him. I just feel like fans only want Ben to get redemption because Bash is such a sweet human being, and that just doesn't seem right. Ben is a source of trauma for Charlie.

I’m wondering if they might keep Ben around but as a person who still tries to hurt, get revenge or resentment against Charlie. Just because Ben and Charlie are done he’s still at the school. Also doing the television adaption is also a redo for Alice as a storyteller and she may change or add to storylines she might have thought about since originally publishing the stories.

@@bookmarksstories8549 Same here. I feel like Alice is gonna change it so that Harry is the one that doesn't get any redemption and Ben does, which I'm not too happy about. I mean, obviously she's the author and it's her story, but I liked how in the comics, the bully (Harry) was actually the one who got redemption. In most shows, the bully just keeps on being a horrible person and the most they get is some sort of a punishment like getting suspended, but they don't actually change. With Harry it was surprising and fresh because he did apologize. Most people would expect Ben to be the one to eventually apologize because he's only repressing his own feelings, but I liked how the comics showed that even a queer person can be horrible to another queer person, because it's true. And a lot of time they don't realize it.
