Heat is one of the defining movies of the 90’s, an absolute masterpiece by Michael Mann. The beach house ocean view window shot, captures the essence of it all, its an icon.

I was looking for 'Heat' extended for a while, thank you. Although, while the song is performed by Kronos Quartet, it was written/composed by Elliot Goldenthal. The score is all composed by Goldenthal with certain songs performed by Kronos Quartet, this being one of them. Thanks again for this though - Brilliant intro to the movie!

Thanks so much for commenting, i changed the description to feature Goldenthal as the composer, sorry for the mistake. I am working on the Terje Rypdal track Mystery Man next, since its one of Rypdal’s best and captures the very essence of Neil

Excellent choice. No problem at all, happy to help and keep up the good work, these are great tracks and with the release of Heat 2 (novel) and the movie being produced now, more people will want to listen to all these great tracks. @@lalvarez1990 As a life long fan of Heat I highly doubt they gonna capture the magic of original with Heat 2. It never works. Heat, much like Leon the professional, are best left alone. Time will tell if im wrong.

Someone should make the same video with footage of LA during the night, or even a livestream with the music repeating, but it must be in the night 100%
