They are additives, temperature and atmosphere.
Pre-treatments:
-After soaked in some chemicals and wash in running water.
Heat treatment
-Before heat treatment,
attach the additive to rough rubies.
-Additives: some chemicals including borax.
Process of heat-treatment
-Put in the furnace.
-Raise the temperature until, 1,625C for 12 hours.
-Maintain for 4 hours.
-Shut down
