After Heath Ledger's death, his friends Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell finished his role for him and gave the money to his daughter Matilda.

This was a beautiful thing that happened three men got together and finished the film for free so Heath's daughter would get his fee, that's just awesome.

You can definitely tell the cast was very fond of Heath...Terry even sounds like he is on the verge of bursting into tears when he talks about him.

I can’t believe it ten years since we lost Heath Ledger I loved his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Luke Daley and poor Gilliam sounds like he’s on the verge of tears when he talks about him, and I hear his voice break when he talks about making the movie without heath...poor guy.

I have to say that I never met him personally, yet I dearly miss him so, like I somehow actually knew him/Heath like personally... I know that sounds crazy. He must have be someone to truly meet up close..

Heath Ledger has more screen time in The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus than he does in The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger's screen time as The Joker, in The Dark Knight is 35 minutes. Heath Ledger's screen time as Tony, in The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus is 40 minutes. So people who haven't seen Doctor Parnassus, it's not like Heath Ledger is in it, and then at the halfway point of the film his gone. No, Heath Ledger basically comes in to the film, about 15 to 20 minutes in, and Heath Ledger appears in the film essentially from then until the last 15 to 20 minutes. So yes it's worth while seeing.

Yeah, I thought it would be like a cut off and he would be gone... man this was such a roller coaster everytime he appeared again

I watched this movie with fear because of that. Like, Is this the last scene of Heath? Oh thanks it's not, is this... I wasn't ready to lose him... but after credits you hear a ringbell and it was soooooooooooooo relaxing, if you watched the film you know what I mean... He is my favourite actor, I miss him so much. rip 💙🌼

Heath Ledger wasn’t the only loss the production experienced. On June 21, 2008, one of the producers for the film, Bill Vince, died of sarcoma at 44, shortly after production ended.

@@DDios-ih9de I think he would have retired from the Joker after the Dark Knight trilogy was finished, from how he described the character ("He’s just an absolute sociopath, a cold-blooded, mass-murdering clown”) I just get the sense he wouldn't have been interested in doing an origin story.

Love and miss Heath Ledger! Can't find any other comment about this so I thought I'd add in the fact that all three of the replacement actors - Depp, Law and Farell - play characters in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. They must've bonded on the set of Parnassus. LOVE!

*This movie shined a light on the Hollywood Elite and it's industry and how they pull you in with riches, fame, and luxury in exchange for your proverbial soul. If you know about Masonic symbolism, and imagery, you'll see it clear as day.*

There's a difference between performance and character it's not just about the acting yes talent matter but the writing and portrayal of the character are more important and more essential, you could bring the greatest actors in the world Daniel day Lewis robert de niro and Brando marlon they may be shit in the movies because of the WRITING it's not the actors fault they only follow the script they are given.
