My most recent video was a documentary on the Heathkit IB-101 Frequency Counter, which was only able to read up to 15MHz.
In this new video, I document the Heathkit IB-102 Frequency Scaler, which was introduced to the market one year after the IN-101 came out, in order to allow that slower piece of equipment to read higher frequencies (albeit with reduced resolution). This device connects between the signal source and the frequency counter, dividing down the signal frequency by 10 or 100 so that the resulting signal frequency is within the specifications of the counter.
Once I get around to completing the CAD work, my newly CAD drawn IB-102 schematic, calibration, etc; document will be available for download here: www.serpentwebsite.com/fileshare.htm
