Thank you for this! Do you think this system moving north is something of concern for the USVI? Does it look like a huge rain maker (a vacation spoiling rainmaker 😮) or just returning them to a typical, tropical pattern of daily off and on rain. I know places need rain and I know how that feels! Just curious what I should prepare myself for!

Hi and you’re welcome. It really is too early to get into any specifics for any one location. It does look like tropical moisture will be moving north next week ,so we’ll have to see how that plays out. I never give vacation advice because everyone’s plans and weather tolerance is different. What I would say is, keep checking back, and the details of the forecast will become clearer as we get closer. -Rusty

Sorry to hear that. Not much change in the forecast the next few days. Some moisture tries to move in starting over the weekend and into next week. But as I said in the video, there is another plume of Saharan dust that could disrupt the wetter pattern. -Rusty
