Hey Guys!
So we are hopping on this sock curl trend that I have been seeing all over my feeds with my own special twist. My hair is very thick and frizzy so I do have to do a few extra things to make sure that my heatless curls come out flawlessly every time. They last just as long as heat curls and all you need is a clean head of hair, some socks, and a spray bottle. Thats it! You can do these as over night heatless curls or in my case daytime curls! I leave them in about 4-5 hours while i do my house chores and they are ready to go by the time it's time for me to go out.

I saw this on tiktok and tried it last night. Only used argon oil. Woke up with the most amazing curls ever and so so shiny and soft. Can’t recommend this method enough. I know for a fact this will be my hair routine from now on. I only put my hair in two socks tho, but every single strand was curled in the morning

This was amazing! And I thought, no this won’t work on my hair - but it’s like yours and it did! Thank you so much! ❤ This has saved me after years of heat curlers. Also, amazing that I didn’t have to sleep uncomfortably in this and only had the socks in for four hours while I got on with my day at home! 🎉

I try to keep my socks very close to the scalp to get very bouncy and long lasting curls, as I have thick, coarse, long hair. Does anyone have tips on how it can be more comfortable to sleep in though?

Buy a satin sleep bonnet/cap and tuck them all in! It will hold them in place

wow so stunning! Did u blow dry or air dry ur hair before this? My hair is naturally 3A curls but i would love to have bigger curls like this. Would it work on air dried slightly damp hair?

So it’s freshly shampooed and then I dried it with a paddle brush but I left about 10-20% moisture in my hair so it’s very very slightly damp.

I just did this on my almost dry hair, and i applied curl cream first. I have very thick hair with a mixture of straight hair and waves/curles. Hopefully it looks nice for work tomorrow 🤞

I fold the closed end of the sock into the hair wrap at the beginning so it locks it in better.

I had this same question as well but I did it anyway with 4 regular cotton socks 😂 when I take them out in the morning I’ll let you know if it worked or not 😂😅

Alright so I took the socks out around 30 minutes ago.... it worked!!!! The curls came out sooo nice, looked like I curled it with a curling wand lol. The only problem was that now I had just 4 massive curls and it looked a bit bunched up and weird, so I had no choice but to brush it out since I had to leave the house and I didn’t have time to let the curls fall down naturally 🤦🏻‍♀️😭BIG MISTAKE, now my hair is a frizzy mess and I need to leave so can’t do anything about it 😭 I’m gonna try putting some oil on it so it’s less frizzy

With wet hair my hair didn't dry through the night so it ended up frizzy. I think dry but spritz water at most if ur hair is thick like mine

I’m trying this right now, I slightly dampened my hair with a bit of water and I washed my hair 2 days ago. I used 4 regular cotton socks instead of 6 too. When I take the socks out in the morning I’ll let you know how it turned out 😂

I feel like you ruined it by running your fingers through it so many times 😭because at the end it looked more frizy than those nice obvious girls you had right when you took the socks off. Id probably run my fingers through like once or twice personally because I also have thick frizzy hair lol. But it still looked gorgeous and now I know this method actually works so thanksss 🤗
